As a working stylist and breastfeeding mom what this salon did is disgusting ….

As a business that caters to women I am appalled about how you treated a breast feeding mother, you didn’t even let her stylist finish her hair and actually went as far as firing your stylist in front of the customer for defending her stance on breastfeeding. Sick. If you cater to women you MUST cater to their needs. Other salons have NO issue with breast feeding clients. After all, a style, color or cut is not cheap. Shame on you. I will never go back to your salon. NEVER shame or humiliate a breastfeeding mother!

As a mother who exclusively breastfed her son, I’m disgusted and appalled to read about the way you treated your own staff and a breastfeeding mother in your salon. Breastfeeding is completely natural and the only person who should be ashamed of what took place is the owner of this salon. I hope you learn from this experience bc I’m certain your going to lose A LOT of business because of your intolerance and discrimination.

I have been going to Bliss since I moved back to Miami almost 5.5 years ago now. It is a pleasant, friendly and calm atmosphere that I enjoy both alone or when I have a child in tow. I have had 3 children over the course of the time I’ve been seeing Mar Mar at Bliss and all of them have come with me to one or more of my hair appointments (and I brought my son in just to have Mario fix a bad haircut). Mar Mar and the staff at Bliss are respectful and great at what they do!

To shame a breastfeeding mother and paying client is absolutely beyond any amount of words! On top of that, to be a big enough POS to fire the stylist because she doesn’t have an issue with breastfeeding! Come on, get real! If it were me, i wouldn’t have even covered! My children don’t have to have a wrap over their head in order to EAT!! Go to hell, you and your salon. Can’t wait for your top dollar clients, who are pro breastfeeding to hear about this one!

This establishment has demonstrated itself to be discriminatory against breastfeeding mothers. It further tarnishes its reputation by wrongfully terminating employees that do not support their ideology on breastfeeding, despite the fact that it is not only natural but legal. It is unfortunate to have to write this, but I feel strongly about joining the other women here. Hopefully, one day I too will be a breast feeding mother and it would be a shame to have another women disgrace me for acting within my legal rights to be a good mother. It is in solidarity with all mothers that I say SHAME ON YOU BLISS INTOXICATING BEAUTY! Shame on you!

I have been a client of Bliss for more than 12 years and I love it here!! I consider them family. I started coming here because they allowed me to bring my young son to my appointments. My daughter and I get pedicures every three weeks and have always received excellent service!! The staff is fantastic!! They are always accommodating. The coffee is wonderfu! The owner, Marmar is so sweet and always has a smile on her face.

Shame on this establishment for making a mother leave for breastfeeding her child! It’s 2018 you will be held accountable for your unbelievable actions. I hope you educate yourself on breastfeeding. Mothers on average spend almost 40 hrs a week with a baby attached to their boob give them a break! I would never give you my business I hope other won’t as well.

i’ve been coming here 13 years to get pedicures with my mom. She specifically chose this place because she had small kids and we have always been treated with so much respect and care. With that being said, although kids come here often, i’ve never had an issue or complaint about noise or chaos. I absolutely love this place. The ambiance is relaxing and everyone is treated like family. Being away for college, it’s so hard to find any salon that compares to this one. I always keep coming back.

Any business or establishment that so openly discriminates against breastfeeding mothers isn’t even worth 1 lousy star. To fire the stylist before the clients paud service was finished is ludicrous and utterly unprofessional. This place is a joke.
