Sophie B did a great job of applying makeup for my event. She worked with me to create a look that worked in the daytime, standing up close to people but also looked good in photos from a little distance. I even tried false lashes for the first time and they looked great. It gave me confidence to face the evening.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityTiffiany the Manager/Owner at Bliss declined to make corrections with my hair and canceled my appointment. I had to locate another professional to cut 3″-4″ off in attempt to get my hair back to healthy. Tiffany is comfortable using language of Attorney support on her behalf and has no desire to support Bliss customers.Ruben (hair professional) fried, damaged, ruined my hair according to two experts. Ruben accepted money for damaging my hair and using temporary die instead of permanent.Tiffany (manager/owner): did nothing to correct the problem and continues to allow Ruben to work on other’s hair and would not allow her staff to make corrections to my hair. Tiffany said she “would let her attorney” handle the matter instead of behaving like a a responsible professional.A small claim is filed.See photos.Paid $640 + $180/tips (3 visits) & trust = $820 TotalPaid $125 for corrections at Hair International, Stanford$945.00 for damage/fried hair at BlissOver the course of 3 days and several hours, temporary die. Bliss-Unprofessional. Please don’t patron Ruben. No apologies from Management or Ruben.I’ll be filing a court case against Ruben at Bliss. He is not understanding of the mass damage to my hair. Great beauty supplies and gifts but best find is hairstylist Eric. He spent 1.5 hours cutting my hair, then blow drying and re cutting it. Super impressed with his expertise, energetic and fun personality. Love my edgy haircut and have received many compliments.

Services being good depends on your luck with which aesthetician you get. However the overall booking and re-scheduling experience is horrible , thanks to the manager. I used to go there for years when the front desk and the managers were decent & professional. The current manager ,She is a beast and will make you pay a heft cancellation fee, despite the situation being exceptional. Even higher end SPAs dont make you pay like this Los Altos location. Buyer beware of course and the experience stinks. I have stopped going there and wasting my money on a terrible customer experience.

I stopped here to see about pricing and logistics to get a men’s haircut sometime in future. Indeed I could, but the price was $65. I told the woman I was looking for something like $40. She said that all the people who work there rent stations and that I should ask around. I did ask another person working there and she charges $28. She works 3 days a week and I need an appointment. The transaction there seemed a little weird so I’ll try another nearby barber shop before I go back.

I’m a big fan Sonya Dakar skin products and her facials (in LA). But when I can’t get to LA, Bliss Beauty is trained to give her facials using her products. Plus, they do facials in a way that feel more luxurious and less like “treatment” than Sonya herself.
