I’ve been getting micro mini braids since I was 18 years old. I always use 6 packs of hair and hI always get the largest of the micro mini braids for $160 maybe sometimes $180. They asked me to pay upfront in cash. I didn’t like that at all since it’s a service. They were also playing R. KELLY’s victim show and laughing at some of his women victims which I really didn’t appreciate since I’m a victim of these things when I was young and when I was in the military nearly bringing me to tears having to remember my past the entire 7 hours I was there which I also found to be pretty long since 2-3 people were doing my hair. With one person doing my hair it takes 5 hours and I get this style done every 3 months for years now… They were talking a lot in their own language I think French and really braiding slowly except for one girl who braided fast but I asked for my hair to be long and one side of my hair is shorter than the other side. My hair is badly uneven and they charged me $200. They also did my braids very small and said I ran out of hair which is strange because I asked for the largest size of the micros and they knew I only had 6 packs of hair to work with it so knowing I only have 6 packs going in why braid it so small you run out of my hair. I’m going to have to cut it to make the right side short like the other side so I don’t have to walk around uneven like this and you can see in my picture with the burgundy hair that’s it’s uneven. Also I didn’t know it was in the Salon building at first so I was lost trying to find the place. The place is really small. I couldn’t really cross my legs without having to move out of someone’s way. They seemed to have a lot to say in their own language regarding my hair, the hairstyle I wanted, the length and I honestly am surprised they never heard of micro mini braids before. I’m not sure I would go back to them because they charged $200 ($40 overpriced), braided way too slowly, braided one side unevenly, ran out of my hair and I had to relive my memories of being assaulted while they laughed at parts in the show as if they are the type that blames the victims. Overall, I would recommend this place only if you want them to do a braiding hairstyle they know and the way they want to do it, or else, if you want anything different they may overcharge and do it poorly.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI started going to that place when Celine was there but since Mrs Angela Took over it’s even better , the lady is so nice, kind ,woman of God . Braiders are very professional, clean , they wear mask and even share them with customers. The job is quick and neat. They sanitize seat after every customer. They offer mobile service , they come and do my hair in my house and had they mask on. They really take care of their customers. Definitely a place to be. I go to Salon Park once a year and get Senegalese Twist in my hair for around summer time to protect my hair from the heat. I really enjoy going there it’s small and not a lot of people running around all over the place. I will admit it does take some time to do my hair but it’s worth the wait because the ends results I love every time. My hair grows healthy every year during the summer thanks to her and her recommendations on how to take care of it while protected. I truly believe in paying for quality and I recommend her. I got simple cornrows and the lady who braided my hair did it way to tight. One week later it still hurts around my hairline. The top part where the cornrows meet the skin is bubbled up and even was bleeding. I really hope this does not change my hairline. I would beware before going here. Updated: The owners response is telling. She is not the one who braided my hair one of her stylist did. If I was a hater I would post pictures and video. I know what hair style works for my head as I have had this hairstyle many times before. I had to get a license hairstylist to loosen my braids. It clear you do not care about your customers and your employees should know how to do protective styling. Some people care about their hairline. It is very rare I give a bad review but you are most deserving.

I have visited in the past and had great service before and that is the reason that I have returned. This last visit I stopped by just to ask if my hair was long enough to do box braids and i was told yes. Though upon my completion I was told that they had a difficult time braiding my hair due to the length. Again they do really good work.

This place is amazing and very professional. They take the time to make sure your hair will be protected while wearing braids. I got the medium box braids and I love them! It only took 4 1/2 hours to get braids that touch my butt. They didn’t leave one hair untouched it was very neat and beautiful. These ladies are very friendly and understand exactly what I wanted.I will be a lifetime customer.
