Needed to come in the same day and they were accomodating on a Friday! Women who braided my hair was so nice and did a phenomenal job. I have very hard hair to work with and she put me at ease. I was googling braids and this braiding salon popped up for fair lawn. I read the reviews and i said okay I’ll let her do my hair. I am not really experienced when it comes to getting braids as I really don’t get them too often, so I always come with questions lol. I was impressed because she was extremely patient and professional addressing all of my concerns. She has a bunch of colors and lengths in the shop and she will let you know if the color wouldn’t look good. Ladies hair is included with her prices! This is extremely rare to find, anyway let me continue. I can now say I have a new place to get my hair braided. I will like to add she is very neat and precise when doing the parts. She also makes sure she isn’t pulling your edges which is a plus. I would like to thank Blanche for putting up with me today lol. I know she would have been able to start and be done faster if I wouldn’t have been so indecisive and asked so many questions. Thank you so much.

Blanche did an excellent job with my braids— I’m so happy with how they came out! She didn’t braid too tight, my braids look nice and neat, and she was fast!! I used to have to go all the way to East Orange/Elizabeth to get my hair done, glad I finally found someone more local. Highly recommend!

Blanche is the owner, this was the third time she did my hair in three years. Each time I wasn’t crazy about the outcome, I only went back because it was convenient, she was able to accommodate my desired day/time and she’s walking distance for me. BIG MISTAKE!!!

This woman is rude and her braids are not the best. I took my daughter for knotless braids. We’ve had better experiences in NY. I will not be coming here again. She gave me a price of $200, then $180, then $250. I definitely could have gotten this hairstyle for $160. I don’t mind paying $200. Just make it worth my $200. This very UNPROFESSIONAL woman had the audacity to tell my daughter (when I stepped out) that we received a discount. Bad business! Bad attitude!
