I live around an hour away, but it’s absolutely worth the drive to be confident I will love how my hair looks, regardless of whatever style or color I choose. It’s been phenomenal to watch both her and her business grow to the popularity they are now, all while never sacrificing quality or speed.I have extremely thick 4C hair, which has taken up to 12 hours to braid fully in other shops. Blanca, however, is able to get me out in under 6 hours each time, with minimal pain or delays in start time. The quality is top tier, as I’m able to wear my waist length box braids for 3 full months at a time.Most importantly, she puts her heart into the quality of each braid or twist, and it shows. She cares about her clients, their hair, and their comfort. I’ve been going here for a few years and this will remain my go to braid shop. All of the ladies who work here are professional, the shop is clean, and the quality of the work is superb. Blanca really went out of her way to make sure I received the hair color I wanted, even though she wasn’t there and it was much appreciated. Best hair braiding experience. Blanca and her staff are so pleasant and inviting. I felt very comfortable the whole time. Her salon is beautiful and CLEAN!!! Refreshments are available as well as jewelry on display. My Senegalese twist are beautifully done. I really appreciate the sisterhood that I felt while getting my hair done. It was enough to make me rush home and gush over. I encourage everyone to try them out! Thanks Blanca, I’ll be back!

This place was recommended to me by another person who came here, and I can say that I am pleased with my results. They were able to fit me in extremely last minute and they provide hair!!! I was indecisive on the style that I wanted to get because they were the same price (reasonable price) and the same amount of time. I decided to go with Senegalese twist but the stylist who was assigned to me was forthcoming and told me that she does not know how to do them; The Stylist who usually does them was not in, however if I’m willing to do box braids that she would be happy to do those for me. I really appreciated her honesty instead of her attempting to do something on my head that she really had no business doing. I have very long and thick hair, but it only took them 7hrs to do my hair. They alternated between each other and there were times where two people were braiding at once which made the process go by as quickly as it did.

The first time that I went to Blanca’s, I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had been going to the same hairdressers for 15 years, but, I was pleasantly surprised…beautiful, clean surroundings, great and comfortable atmosphere. Blanca was very welcoming and knowledgeable about hair, not to mention great conversationalist. I have been to the salon twice and both times were lovely. My braids lasted for nearly 3 months and still looked good just before I removed them! I would highly recommend Blanca’s Braids to anyone who prefers going to a salon with good services, communication and positive vibes…
