I had the WORST experience I could imagine at Blades Salon yesterday. Not only was the woman who did my hair unforgivably rude (and at one point she brought me to tears, but it is kind of hard to walk out with a head full of foil and dye) she had no idea how to color hair. After specifically asking NOT to have a ‘bozo the clown’ red, that is exactly what I got. When she put the dye on I asked repeatedly if that was going to be the color because it was so bright and nothing like I had picked out. I was told that it will be quite different when it ‘oxidizes’. Needless to say, this is my third and final time to this salon. The previous two times the girls were nice but would not take enough length off of my hair and the cut was not all that great. This time I cannot even express how upset I am. I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. I have been told by many of the locals that it is a ‘hit or miss’ place, unfortunately for me it has been nothing but misses. Good thing I have ANOTHER appointment today to fix the mess that was made by the ‘stylist’ Blades.

Getting a haircut here is very much a gamble – sometimes it’ll come out, but you may end up with a sloppy snip. Better than a cost cutters, but you aren’t getting the high end salon work here.
