Annie is a treasure, I have very long curly hair that I wear naturally nearly all of the time, it can be kind of difficult find someone who can give my hair some TLC without disrupting my curl pattern and making things frizzy. Annie is 100% that person and I love coming in because I always know I’ll get to relax and leave feeling and looking really awesome.

I really loved this place for a long time. However after a handful of appointments my stylist started canceling on me the day of my appointment. Sometimes just an hour or two before. They ask for you to cancel within 2 days, so I would really like the same respect. I understand emergencies, but texts at 4 in the morning about a “migraine” isn’t an emergency. I would have to request off of work each time and sometimes wait months in advance and line up a babysitter just to get canceled on for a migraine each time. And I would reschedule, request off again, wait 6 weeks because I already missed out on the days work, and get canceled on day off again. After 3/4 times in a row I gave up and found a new stylist. It’s absolutely insane. No trying to set things right just a “you’re totally gonna hate me but I woke up with a migraine-“ text as im getting ready. This in total happened probably 5-6 times over a year. I feel like that’s just beyond unprofessional as I had multiple friends getting the same response from this stylist that had to go else where too. It’s sad because the work was beautiful but that’s just terrible customer service.

Technically, I did not use this business. I had my appointment scheduled for a MONTH. Was happy and excited, because the pictures online appear to show that these ladies know what’s up. And maybe they do… HOWEVER, they ask you to respect their time and cancel prior to 48 hrs before your appointment. Cool. But my Wednesday appointment was canceled on the Friday before my Wednesday appointment. I would originally be ok with this and shrug it off thinking that maybe they had a family emergency or something, but I went back in to see that my spot (that was JUST canceled) was booked. This tells me that she probably overbooked herself… it happens, but a little customer service goes a long way. If I had made that mistake I would’ve reached out and asked if another day and time works better, but no. When I received the link to “contact them” it redirected me to their booking page (basically asking me to make another appointment). I’m sorry, but if you want me to respect your time by feeing me half of what the original service costs if I cancel my appointment 2 days or less prior then my time should be respected too. I live an hour away and have a 4 month old baby, so I had to PLAN this. Since it played out this way I will never attempt to book again. I think it was the universe steering me away from this place. If you do book with them I’d have a plan B in place. I hope this helps someone ✌️.
