that was one of the best pedicures i’ve gotten. my cuticle was removed the exact way i like! the guy who did my pedicure did an AMAZING job!!!! the massage and hot stones was perfect too i have nothing bad to say (writing this as i am getting a pedicure)

I do not write reviews but I have to.. I went here and I will start by saying that the guy who did my nails did a great job. That being said. I got a pedicure Wednesday my feet were a little sore the next day and I didn’t think anything of it. This morning on Friday at 4 am I wake up to the most excruciating pain and I went to the doctor. She told me I got a bacterial infection and that it’s spreading to my other toes. I can barely walk on my foot and I have to miss work the next two days. She has prescribed me antibiotics for 10 days. I called the salon and said can I speak to your manager please? She said she’s not in and I asked if she could call me back and she said I don’t know… I said my issue and said could someone please call me back for that? So she said I need to come in with my note which I gladly give here. I come in and they’re all waiting for me at the front. I told him that I thought he did a good job he grabbed my note out of my hand and said come over here. Very aggressive for me being the one with the actual issue. He said that I didn’t say anything when he asked if it hurt (which it didn’t hurt) and they said that it was my fault and then the manager who apparently wasn’t there said I should have come in yesterday if I had a problem or if it was bleeding or had pus… I’m pretty sure infections don’t escalate to that state in a day? Did not apologize or give me a refund or did anything sincere. I felt very uncomfortable with all 5 of them standing there looking mad at me. I didn’t want any problems. I just wanted maybe a reimbursement for the nails since I just spent another 120 at the doctors. I just feel very unsettled by all this and really shocked since the reviews were great. Posted my note from my doctor just in case someone needed proof.

I come here from Newton for the last three years. I’ve tried a lot of places in Newton and Wellesley but this is the best manicure and pedicure you can get! Definitely recommend this place! Gel manicures, Manicure, Pedicure

Went there just once to realize I am not going again. First off, it’s way too pricey for nothing special or out of the box service. Uncomfortable paying $5 extra for regular nail color removal. I guess they behave according to people’s skin color. RUDE!! It left a mark in my mind. Obviously a terrible place to spend my precious money!!

I come here from Leominster for the last 2 years. I’ve tried many other places in my area but I never receive the excellence I always get from this place. There is no other place like black & white nails! Very relaxing & definitely a reasonable price for the job they provide. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nail salon!

After 25 years of acrylic nails I finally took them off, came to this salon and was treated to the first pedicure and manicure that was completely relaxing, professional and no rushing! They did a beautiful job on pedicure and first manicure on my own nails with gel polish. Complete with leg and foot massage then neck massage at end of manicure. Yes, costs a bit more but well worth the actual service and professionalism. Finally, a nail salon that puts customers first! Do not go there if your in a rush, go to the other assembly line nail joints. This place is a class act all the way. The good old days have returned my friends at the Black and White. Prepare to spend a few hours truly being pampered again.

Told me they didn’t have that color but then I ended up finding it on my own as he was rushing me to pick one. Then he Did a very quick manicure rushing throughout it. When I paid with my debit the lady at the desk kept questioning me and asking me numerous times if I had cash on me even though I said no the first 3 times she asked me. They give the best pedicure I’ve ever had. They are extremely thorough at cleaning the piggies and the polish is always perfect. Each pedicure comes with a hot oil and stone massage. I won’t go anywhere else and the price is just right. They are always booked so I recommend calling ahead for an appointment.
