I decided to try a stylist who specializes in black natural hair because my hair was extremely dry and damaged, and I was struggling to care for it properly on my own. Mei’Ling asked questions, and we chatted about protective styles. She did a two strand twist and explained how she would help me get my hair to a healthier place.

Didn’t get hair done but I did go in and the atmosphere was very welcoming and the owner was very nice and took her time to answer my questions even though her shop was closed and it was after hours. I thought that was really nice of her so I would recommend this place and give it 5 starts just because is the customer service.

So I was at work and hated my braids. Since I naturally wear a short hairstyle they were slipping out horribly after a few weeks. So I got on google and called two salons the first one was an oriental salon and when I asked her for finger waves she asked me why I wanted them and to send a picture of my hair …. NEXT!!! The next salon I called was Black magic, she was kind and courteous and said she could do finger waves. She required a deposit but was available same day within two hours. I get there and the salon is gorgeous!! Her assistant and her both greeted me with hand shakes and smiles. She got started on my hair IMMEDIATELY. She waved me up and say me under the dryer . As she waved me they both talked to me as if they’d known me for years like we pledged the same sorority. Positive energy and vibes everywhere !!!!!
