I called Bishops in Cupertino on a referral. My initial contact was with Mark who could not have been more helpful. He scheduled me with stylist Paul who I cannot say enough good things about…but I’ll try. Paul was the consummate professional. I explained the style I wanted and he knocked it out of the park. The shampoo I received was the best I’ve ever had, so relaxing and not rushed. Their prices are very reasonable, the environment is clean and tidy and the vibe is comforting. I’m planning on a return visit to have Paul do my highlights. If you are looking for a great place with competent stylists and great prices, I highly recommend Bishops.

Paul was a great stylist. We did a quick consultation about the vision I had for my hair and he gave me some input as well, then he got started on my hair. Paul is very skillful and detail-oriented. He got what I want instantly when I showed him a photo. He made suggestions based on his experience too. I’ve asked a lot of barbers. Not many know how to make invisible layers. I have fine hair and invisible layers give it more volume. Other staff are really nice too and take good care of customers. Really recommend this place.

Haircut was alright, I asked for long layers but they came out somewhat choppy and uneven. She checked in with me throughout the haircut about the length, but I think the technique used or the style she thought I wanted just didn’t match what I had in mind. The front desk staff and the hairstylist were both nice, but I didn’t really like the actual haircut.
