Valeria did a great job at cutting and styling my hair. She doesn’t permit anyone except those she trusts to cut her hair so I knew she’d be a great fit. I will clarify that you’ll be spending at least $30 here but you get what you pay for. Service provided was friendly and courteous and will be happy to return.

DO NOT come to birds if you are looking for a regular bang trim or have straight asian hair. I used to come to Birds for my pixie cut but they evidently don’t know how to style or cut hair outside of pixie cut styling. When I asked for a straight bang trim, the stylist somehow thought it was a good idea to layer the bangs halfway across, creating this ugly line in the middle of my bangs – maybe she was going for a shaggy look? but that looked NOTHING like the photo I showed and never works in asian hair. Lesson learned, I’m never coming back to birds again! So very disappointed after being a loyal customer for years.

Good ambience. 2 stars are specific to fades. Have tried 3 different people, including the barber. Fade was uneven, visible lines, no super shaver, jagged cuts blending with the top.

Very clean and happy employees. Walked in to smiles and happy customers walking out. Not in easy to see area but once you walk a little bit you notice a nice little set up in the front. The people are friendly and took great care of my son’s hair. Music for everyone which was great because most barbershops aren’t playing children friendly music.

Price and fade were decent. I had been wondering around the Domain trying to remember where I parked when I came across this shop. Figured I may as well stop in for a haircut. I appreciate them fitting me in as a walk in. When I asked the receptionist what 15% of 35 is she told me $7 dollars. I’m not sure why she would lie to me about that. Minus two stars for conning me out of 2 bucks. She ought to be careful about that. I once dropped a barber after they asked for an outrageous tip. Other than that the fade I received was decent.

I’m not normally someone who cares too much about his hair, but Samantha is so damn good at her job (and a great person, to boot) that I had to say so by leaving a review. Loved every single haircut she gave me. It isn’t always easy to stomach the prices Birds charges, but at least I knew I was in the hands of one of the best. Thanks Samantha and Birds!
