Nice barber but they did not know what they were doing. Left plenty of hairs on my lower neck from a shave and had no idea how to do a regular haircut. I ordered super generic, forgettable haircut. Not from Austin so I won’t be going back. Nice ambiance.

Disappointed. Out of town…needed a haircut. It’s definitely not a Barbershop. No barbers in the place. I needed a straight edge shave and hard part and my hair cutter couldn’t do either because she was not a barber. I asked for an undercut and got a fade. Hair stylist was nice, but dont really think she understood what i was asking for. This is more like a Supercuts. Save yourself some money and go to Great Clips. Complimentary Beer was nice though.

Loved Birds for so many reasons and for so long until earlier this week. Son got the worst haircut ever. Not sure if it cause we were a few minutes late. Got there ~4 minutes late and the place was empty so not sure why they were texting us. Rude. Ok, so the cut, I’m pretty sure that I could have done better as it looks like multiple shaggy lengths with some mullet sorta – definitely not the cut we asked for “clean it up” – didn’t fight or cause a stir while there as the barber didn’t seem to care or be someone to point out anything like this too. Oh and they wouldn’t take the $10 gift card I had.

Do not get a haircut here. I went in to get my sides faded, and I told Ashley multiple times before and throughout the cut not to fade my hair too high on the sides and to leave the front and top as-is, with some overhang on the sides of the hairline. When she went to blend the sides, she went way higher than natural and left the middle awkwardly long so that it came to a point, with the side hairline pieces awkwardly short in comparison to the rest of the front. I had to go back and have another barber fix it, cutting off the majority of my hair on top in order to even it out, leaving me with a short cut, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted. These barbers are untrained, unskilled and will leave you with the worst haircuts you’ve ever gotten. Opt for literally any other barber shop in Austin for a better result.

Today was my first time at this barber shop and probably my last, too. The person who cut my hair was really nice, but not only did they cut my hair in a way that was nothing like my reference photo (which was a picture of me from 2 months ago), they also buzzed my back and sides very unevenly. On the top of my head, some chunks of hair are much longer and some are much shorter than the rest. I’m a little bit disappointed because Bird’s Barbershop was recommended to me by several friends of mine and I really wanted to like it, but, quite frankly, this is one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. I give 2 stars because the person who cut my hair was really nice.
