Binta African Hairbraiding

Critical: QualityI did a Google search for an African braiding salon near me and this salon was the closest although it was a little far. Before I arrived (in an Uber) I sent a text/picture of the style I wanted and the person who answered said they could do it for $200. When I got there at 9:30 AM I showed them the picture again and they said they couldn’t do it because it would have taken too long. I didn’t want to leave after getting the Uber so I ended up getting a style I didn’t want for $200. Not only that, a stylist was doing my hair and the owner made her stop doing my hair to do someone else’s. Then the owner/manager came and started doing my hair halfway and made the first stylist come to finish my hair. I was there for about 9 hrs and received a style I didn’t want. This was the worse experience I’ve ever had at a braiding salon. I did a Google search for an African braiding salon near me and this salon was the closest although it was a little far. Before I arrived (in an Uber) I sent a text/picture of the style I wanted and the person who answered said they could do it for $200. When I got there at 9:30 AM I showed them the picture again and they said they couldn’t do it because it would have taken too long. I didn’t want to leave after getting the Uber so I ended up getting a style I didn’t want for $200. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueBinta, was scheduled to do my hair, instead her sister, on Wednesday August 11th 2k22 7 hours box braids on a short cut hair. 3 days my head was sore and in pain then braids started falling out, al day every day . I texted her, in told her then I sent a photo as well as a video. No response. For at least 2 days. I did another video and she finally called. So Binta said she told her sister to do it a certain way and she didn’t. All I wanted was half my money back. It was 18 braids and it was a week yet. Sh said No $50 I paid 300 and she gave me 2 twenty dollar bills. Not only that but the box braids were done like someone on the streets. My initial instinct was to walk out. I wish I had listened to my higher self.Total waste of money and time.
