Critical: ProfessionalismI went one time and the lady who cut my hair did an okay job. I wasn’t too impressed, but didn’t hate it. I then went back about a month later and this one guy with tattoos cut my hair and did an awful job. First, he wasn’t wearing a mask and that didn’t make me happy, and then he butchered my hair. During my haircut he actually asked for help from another barber. It was by far the worst haircut ever and I had to let it grow out for about 4 months before I could even get another one. I went one time and the lady who cut my hair did an okay job. I wasn’t too impressed, but didn’t hate it. I then went back about a month later and this one guy with tattoos cut my hair and did an awful job. First, he wasn’t wearing a mask and that didn’t make me happy, and then he butchered my hair. I went into this shop, being new to town, and without saying anything they both immediately gave me nasty looks. I asked if I could have my sides faded, a typical haircut done at barber shops(which I have been in before). I have some longer hair on top which I asked them to leave. They told me to go to a salon down the street. I insisted on only needing my sides buzzed, very simple and common for barbers.In the end they refued me service saying they don’t offer service to women and I should go to the salon down the street, even though I have a men’s styled haircut they kept telling me “women don’t like the way we do it, we don’t do women” sounding extremely sexist as all I was asking for was a simple, male styled, fade.
