Had a terrible experience with Drew Alston .. didn’t care that he cut my wrong neither did he offer me a refund after I told him I didn’t like it. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and told him to keep my hair dark , don’t knock too much hair off my head and proceed to give me close cut and close cuts don’t work on head because I have light spots within my hairline, therefore when he edged me up it looked like I didn’t have a hairline , he Also backed my hairline back

I am a huge fan of this shop. Love the conversation and positive energy. AB is a master barber and so much more! Just last week he reminded my son about the importance of having a good attitude and being mentally tough. He even reminded him about the need to get quality reps with his dribbling and jump shot. My son not only left with a tight mohawk but more importantly great positive messages.

I typically don’t like to leave reviews for bad service, but this one really didn’t sit right with me. The way this interaction took place, I can almost guarantee their male clients aren’t treated the way I was treated. Because one apple can ruin the bunch, I’ll just leave out individual names since the business practices at the Triangle Mall location are the issue. I scheduled an appointment for my son online for later in the afternoon. We arrived around 5 minutes early and waited until our appointment time as expected. However, the barber we reserved still had 4 other clients waiting ahead of us. So I asked the barber at the front desk if the next available barber could cut my son’s hair. He told me I would have to go to the barber I was scheduled with and ask him if someone else could cut my son’s hair. I thought it was ridiculous especially considering the circumstances, but I did as asked with no complaints at the time. The issue arose when I asked the appointed barber and was told that I my son could sit with the next available barber, but I would have to PAY AGAIN. I asked the man at the front desk if this was correct and he agreed with the barber. WHAT?! I already paid online when I made the reservation with this particular barber who now has four people waiting during my appointment and he tells me to pay again if I want to receive a service from another barber in the same shop! Also, there were at least two other barbers available. I told him that didn’t make sense for me to come out of my pocket again for his conflict in scheduling. The barber responded and said that I would pay the doctor if I had to go to the doctor. NOT IF I DID NOT RECEIVE A SERVICE! If I walk into the doctor’s office for a scheduled appointment and something happens that causes my Dr to be unavailable for our appointment, I will not pay or what I already paid would be refunded back to me because I NEVER received a service. Also, I would not be charged TWICE for being treated by another doctor for the same service in the same office on the same day for the same appointment if my doctor was unavailable. The barber said I reserved his time when I made the reservation online and he was now backed up since a previous client took longer than expected. So I’m still paying for a time slot that’s now unavailable due to his error? He would not “release” my son to sit with another barber without me paying again. You already have my money and I have yet to receive a service for a reservation that’s no longer available! HORRIBLE!!!! Why make a reservation ahead of time if I’m going to be seated like a walk-in? At least the walk-ins keep their money until they receive a service. Whoever owns the shop at the Triangle Mall location should really look into how their barbers are running the business.

Tried just about every barber at this location and probably won’t be back tbh. The shop has a chill and clean-cut environment, but if you guys don’t cut children’s hair well and with CONSISTENT quality, please just remove that service from the app. It is really okay to just say you do not cut kids hair. You’re not doing people a favor, you’re providing a paid service and it’s unprofessional and uncomfortable when you treat customers like a burden. Some of the barbers here can be heavy handed and will visibly display their disdain for cutting hair on small children. I definitely suggest they get a barber at each location that likes interacting with small children and focuses solely on them.

Critical: Value$48 for what? Drew is a good barber but I am scratching my head on why folks are spending 48 bucks on a haircut. I was in a pinch and needed a cut but I won’t return for this reason. I just washed my hair so I turned down the washbut no discount. I did tip but that’s just my nature. Where are the $20 fades in Raleigh?Services: Haircut, Beard trim
