This used to be the best place to take my son. He has been going there since he was 6 years old. He is now 15 and severely autistic. The man that cut his hair didn’t not listen to anything I said about my son and my son could tell the man did not want to cut his hair. I walked out paying $20 with a half of a hair cut. I will no longer go back to this business. So sad after all the years I raved about this place. Now I need to find a place that will welcome my son not treat him different!

We have tried twice to book an appointment, and we were twice cancelled with short notice, with not much of a plausible explanation. Apparently, it sounded like the stylist we had requested, who had seen us before in another setting, did not want to see us. The only reason that I can think of is that we had disagreed at some point during the early phase of the pandemic about the use of masks, when the stylist was defying related state mandates. I did not find that the salon management handled this professionally, giving us excuses that the stylist was booked, or was not taking new clients, etc. while cancelling us with a few hours notice for appointments that were made days in advance. We would have really appreciated not wasting our time waiting for the appointments and for the stylist being upfront in the first place.

Critical: ProfessionalismThis place was recommended to me by another parent. When I called I specifically asked if they had a policy to wear masks and was told “yes.” Great, we get there and they have a “masks required” sticker on the door. All good. Go back to see stylist and she’s not wearing a mask. When I ask her if she can put one on for my son she refuses so we left because it didn’t feel safe. Big waste of time and really disappointed we couldn’t get a cut. If you’re going to have a policy please enforce it so customers know what to expect. I know masks are controversial but just be up front and consistent.This place was recommended to me by another parent. Absolutely terrible. Worst haircut experience I’ve ever had. The girl didn’t listen to a word I said. My hair is uneven. I asked her to shorten the sides more and I felt like it was a huge bother for her. I will never be back.
