Critical: ProfessionalismI was referred to Big Kountry by some of the ladies at my salon. Apparently one of the stylists there are married to the owner. I contacted the shop explaining exactly what I wanted and apparently the owner isn’t interested in doing the size and type of tattoos that my husband and I were looking to have done. We scheduled w/another artist there and had them done. I was told by Aaron to let him know that upon healing that the ink took. It did not a a few places. Well, this is where the fun starts. First I was given a time to come in on a Saturday to have my tat touched up, so I thought. I drove the 45 minutes there only to find out that he only wanted to look at it although I had sent a very clear pic of it. He didn’t do touch up on Saturdays. Really? It literally would have only taken minutes. I was told that I could come on a Saturday at 6 pm or sometime during the week (when I’m working), keeping in mind this is a 90 minute round trip. I received this long drawn out message from the owner that as far as touch ups go, I was at their mercy. Basically because I stick with lighter colors for my tats, I’m taking a chance and they didn’t really guarantee it and usually charge. Again, really? This was my 4th tat and all of mine are lighter colors and I have NEVER had issue with the ink taking. After much back and forth and I did the 45 minute drive there and literally it only took 10 minutes and then I did the 45 minute drive back.
