Not the most elegant of spots, with gruesome murders often being played on the television, but that is NOT why you go to a barber shop. It is a GREAT haircut. I see Big Jim himself, because he is “the master of the flat top.” Also awesome with beard trims! I brought my boys (6 yo) and Leslie gave them both great cuts while I got mine. My wife was VERY impressed and the boys enjoyed it. My friend/neighbor swears by Bobby, and his cuts always look great. Make an appointment (or the wait can be long or just not available), and bring cash, no cards.

Jim’s is a great place. Friendly people good service and reasonable prices. The first place I found since being in the Bay area that didn’t have exorbitant prices for a buzz. Don’t think I didn’t want to pay well for my haircut. I doubled the price as a tip. I think you will enjoy it if you give it a try

Absolutely amazing! Had one of the best beard trims and haircuts ever, Jim understood exactly the look I was going for and nailed it. I’m usually very apprehensive to let barbers touch my beard, but Jim knocked it out of the park.

Solid haircut! Been around for a long time so you can be sure that it’s a trusted shop in the area. Worth a trip even if you are coming from far. It’s purposely kept old school with rotary telephones and what not, so the haircut is a trip back in time 🙂

Second week here in north Cali and I needed a hair cut bad, just went on Google and Jim’s barber shop came up. First time there I had no appointment and I was worked into the chair within 10 mins. The staff was really friendly and I was happy with my hair cut.
