I’ve been going to the same barbershop for over 15 years, and I’ve taken my autistic son for 10 years, but Big Al’s has WON me over. I took my son for a haircut 10 days ago, and THEY were AMAZING in dealing with him (shout out to Abdul) , and Amir turned us both into Big Al’s permanent customers today with my haircut …I’ve spoken to Big Al a couple of times now too AND THEY take appointments, something my OLD barbershop did not…Friendly, Clean, free parking, and a welcoming atmosphere inside….Highly Recommended

I want to give this place 5 stars so badly because they are super friendly, have a super cool place, and really know what they are doing. HOWEVER, they really need some kind of system for Saturdays, or any busy time. I left today after waiting for 1.5 hours, and my son still didn’t get a haircut. It was packed when I walked in, but I thought hey it’s a Saturday, that’s to be expected. What I wasn’t expecting, was the total inefficiency of their system: basically, it’s walk ins only on Saturday. But there is no number to take, list to write your name on or person keeping track of who is next. At one point I realized a lot of people seemed to be waiting for one specific barber, which is fine, but how is anyone else walking in supposed to know that, and know what their place is in line? Not only that, when someone is finished and they are ready to take someone else, the barber just says “I don’t know who’s next”, which means the customers have to figure it out themselves. At any rate, I do like the vibe of the place and my son loves going there, so I’ll be back. I do hope they consider a more efficient way of running things though.

Guy who cut my hair seemed disinterested. They didn’t even clean up my neck line or fix my sideburns. I have never been to a barber shop where they don’t do this. Plus I’m sure he charged me $5 more than the advertised price.

Second time I took my son there for a haircut today and the guys did a great job. Very friendly and they definitely know what they’re doing. All around solid vibe. Amazing to see posts below that give these dudes a star or two just because it’s cash only or bc it’s walk-in only on Fridays and Saturday… It’s a barbershop not a spa…

Al is a great guy to his costomers. He accomadates me with getting the time for my three boys to get thier haircuts all in a row from him personally even if he has to do it after hours. Great Barber, Great guy, My boys and I are his customers for life. Highly recommended.

This place is a bunch of young guys that really know their trade. I went there two weeks ago for a hair cut, my hair was really long, was really happy with the results. Today I went back to remove my 6 to 7 inch beard off. Let me tell you they know how to shave the right way the old fashion way……. Im sorry i don’t remember names the barber in the back chair on the right the guy is a genious with a razor. please give these guys your business you will not be disapointed. i would give them ten stars this place is for real……
