I was warmly welcomed by Veronica into her beautiful eyebrow salon. I felt so badly because (tmi) I was smelly and worn down from cleaning and running around with our 4 yo and 3 yo all day, and had almost forgotten that I made the appointment! Despite it, Veronica was kind and professional. Though it was my first wax after threading for so long, I felt so comfortable in the space. I did experience some redness and scabbing, which was probably due to my sensitive skin or not having had a wax in a long while. It subsided within the next couple days. My brows are in pretty bad shape due to stress and me trying to do them myself, but Veronica did an excellent job. She asked how I wanted them and delivered! Hopefully one day by brows will be back to their former state. (Don’t mind my why so serious face as I am not a selfie/picture person lol)

If you’re on the fence about taking Veronica’s Microshading and Ombre class..THIS IS YOUR SIGN, DO IT! I completed her 2day course and I have never been more excited about the new season I am getting ready to step into. On the first day, she provided the class with detailed training manuals, with visual aids, swag bags and all the necessary tools and products needed to begin our training. The products provided is more than enough to jump start your business. During class we discussed needle hang/throw, how to load your cartridge with ink, properly hold your machine, how to determine which needles to choose for shading and lining, how the skin type, inconsistent speed and depth can affect shading and ink retention, how to map brows, and we also practiced lining and shading on practice skins. Day 2, we sat for instruction, discussed business tips, practiced and watched Veronica work in action to complete a set of ombre brows on her model, before giving the class the space to work with their own models. She was there every step of the way, but also gave us the autonomy and space to rely on the information we had previously learned. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with her level of professionalism, work ethic, teaching style and her ability to appeal and respond to my individual learning needs as if I were the only person in the room. I am absolutely beyond thrilled with Veronica and Beyond The Brow Salon. Veronica is a true artist and she has transformed my eyebrows! They look so lush and natural it’s unbelievable. It’s totally transformed my face. She also did an amazing job doing permanent makeup on my lips. Before my lips had lost a lot of the color over the years and even the shape was a little different as I’ve gotten older. Veronica is highly skilled and professional. She did such a good job reshaping my lips that I don’t have to wear lip liner anymore. I’m so happy that I can wake up in the morning looking like I have on fresh natural make up. Veronica is also extremely gentle and patient as I have a low tolerance for pain. She makes the process relaxing and easy and I can’t recommend her enough!

Beyond the Brow is amazing. I’ve been for multiple facials as well as waxing. Veronica always has me leaving her shop feeling like a new man. The gentleman’s facial is everything. My beard is so soft and shiny because of her, she even gets out all of my ingrown hairs, which can be a pain for me. She is very professional and explains everything to me as she’s doing it. I feel so fancy saying I have my own esthetician! If anyone of my friends is ever looking for a service that she offers, I always recommend her first. You will not be disappointed!

I began my skin journey with Veronica a few years ago, by way of a mutual friend giving her raven reviews. So I decided to give her a try. I have to be honest, I was a little apprehensive at 1st because I’ve battled with adult acne for many years.. threw money away trying different products yielding no fruitful results. So needless to say I didn’t have anything to lose and everything to gain. After my 1st visit I was like, who’s skin am I in cause Veronica worked wonders. I had a glow. My skin looked vibrant and alive! I continue to travel from Elk Grove every month because I find my skin responds well to the products and the treatment she uses… I’m hopeful one day she’ll open a location in Sacramento because there are so many people in need of her services, but until that day comes I’ll continue making my 90 minute round trip. One more thing, location, location, location. Her spot is so peaceful, beautifully decorated and inviting for her clients.
