I love my braids! I haven’t gotten my hair done at a salon in over 3 years. Everything about the process was great! I called a day before to book an appointment, there were no problems and Grace was very pleasant! I got 10 straight back cornrows and was done in an hour. The braids are neat! I’ve been here twice now and am again impressed. Grace made appointments for me each time, and respectfully let me know ahead of time if there was any delays. I appreciate that because other shops have caused me to wait in my car or come back later due to their poor booking conflicts. Grace made sure that my cornrows and twists are EXACTLY like the pics that I show her online. The styles are solid when she’s done, and last for weeks. I come all the way from the VA side to see her. She’s my go-to shop from now on. Make an appointment and you won’t regret it!

The service and price were decent and my hair was finished quickly but I had an allergic reaction to the hair they used and had to go to urgent care and be put on steroids for a week to bring down the swelling and redness to my head and face. The owner offered her apologies and said she would redo my hair with another brand but when my scalp healed she ignored my calls and multiple texts. It was already inconvenient to pay for a style I had to take out less than a week later and painful because of the reaction, but to offer to redo it and then dodge me is unacceptable. I waited well over a month to hear back from her before writing this review and never did. No point in saying you’re going to do something if you have no intention to.

Praying for everyone to find another place to get there hair done. Patronize Black owned businesses go to Bowie. I had a really bad experience and God knows and he is fixing it as I type. If people have to use Jesus to promote there business that is a sign. Keep it in the family as far as hair stylist go. My family all went to same hair stylist which was my deceased Aunt and now it’s her daughter. Be anxious for nothing butt Everything by supplication and prayers.
