Mrs. Kay was awesome! This was my first time getting my braids done professionally and I was nervous as I’m very tender-headed, but it was such an easy and smooth experience. She contacts you before to confirm what you’re looking for, how to prepare, and how much time to expect. She asks about your allergies and sensitivities as well. I appreciated the very clear and thorough communication. Mrs. Kay was very gentle, but made sure the braids were tight enough to last and be secure while not being uncomfortable. They came out super neat and simply beautiful.

I called Beulahs Hair Braiding early Tuesday the 20th of December 2022 Morning to see if there would be an availability Saturday the 24th of December (Christmas Eve)…and amazingly there was an opening. I spoke to Miss Kay and we exchanged pleasantries. She asked me what style of braids I was looking to get. I told her knotless braids but she told me she does not do knotless just traditional braids/box braids. I was thinking to myself that I did not want to have a headache over the holidays but I went ahead and booked w/ Miss Kay anyhow. She told me what brand of hair to get(and sent me a text image of the package) how many packs to buy. A few hours passed and Miss Kay called me back to let me know a client of hers canceled and said that Friday the 23rd was available. I absolutely said I’ll take it. My appointment was 1st thing @ 0700 am. LISTEN Y’ALL!!! I took 2 Aleve before she started braiding my hair and 2 more after she finished. How about I wasted a total of 4 Aleve’s because I was expecting a headache and a tender head. Boy was I fooled! No headaches or head soreness. Miss Kay is absolutely amazingly meticulous!!!! Before she began her work she asked me if I was allergic to any prodcuts and asked if it would be okay to clean up(trim) the braid because some of it would have been my actual hair. Miss Kay sent me a Merry Christmas Text on Sunday and she did a follow up call to see how I am enjoying my braids. IM TELLING YOU Miss Kay is a TREMENDOUS Jewel!!!!!THANK YOU MISS KAY for your availability and Communication!!!!!!!

I am still so impressed with Ms. Kay’s work. The braids look beautiful. And the whole experience was amazing. She walked me through every step, advising on products to buy, checking in (before, during and after) to make sure I was okay, and liked the service. It was my first time getting braids and I was super anxious, but she was so caring throughout the whole process that I became more comfortable. She really cares about her work and her customers. This is the place to go!!!!

I have been a client of this salon for over 8 years! Julie is thorough, professional and quick. I have never ever had my hair come out and it maintains it style for at least 6 weeks. I highly recommend if you want meat braids! Keep your appointment and follow the cancellation policy or you will have to wait!! Again she comes highly recommended!!

She actually cares about her clients hair and goes beyond from what a hairdresser will do for her clients convenience.
