I had my makeup and hair done here for a wedding. The woman who did my hair was great but the woman who did my makeup (owner possibly) was rude to the bridal party and her staff. She was playing on her phone while doing my makeup and didn’t listen to my requests. First she didn’t put primer down when I told her I didn’t apply this yet. This made my makeup oily and melt off half way through the day. Then I told her it looked heavy and she had a “well it is what it is” mentality. If people are paying for their makeup done they should look and feel amazing. The whole vibe at the salon was weird and uncomfortable with this woman and her unprofessionalism on her phone the whole time. I’d go somewhere else next time.

Cozy and stylish little shop tucked away in Elmhurst. Scheduling is easy and prices are reasonable/comparable to other shops I’ve visited. I’ve had both brow waxes and blow outs with Alex that I loved. Not only is she talented, she’s very friendly. The other stylists appear to be as well.

I utilized their blowout services in June for my “rehearsal dinner hair” and it was ok. I’ve had better in the city, but I wanted something local for the convenience and so it was fine. At the appointment the woman doing my blowout noticed my hair extensions and said that they could do them a bit cheaper and with better quality hair. I had JUST had a new set put in (for the wedding), and so wanted to wait for those to need to be fully replaced before I tried it out. It would be nice to get it done local and not have to travel to the city for such a routine service.
