Positive: ProfessionalismI’ve been going here for years with nothing but great experiences. When my daughter recently decided she wanted to cut her hair short, my wife said there was no one she would trust more than Alex who—in addition to having cut my hair on several occasions—is one of their hipper, younger, extremely talented stylists.After a bit of coercion (as he typically just handles men’s/boy’s cuts), my daughter went in to see Alex with pictures in-hand of what she described as a “punk pixie style haircut”, and he did an amazing job matching cut-to-image to perfection. I’ve always recommended Bethesda Metro Hair for men’s cuts (personally trusting Tri, Thomas, Alex, etc.), and I’ve seen women get more typical haircuts with several of the other stylists, but I would definitely feel comfortable recommending Alex to any lady looking for a stylish, short new do.Added benefit: Being accustomed to driving her to other ladies salons, their was extremely reasonable, especially given the fantastic quality & care…plenty of room to tip their skilled artists!// Best girls short haircut. When my daughter recently decided she wanted to cut her hair short, my wife said there was no one she would trust more than Alex who—in addition to having cut my hair on several occasions—is one of their hipper, younger, extremely talented stylists.

I just got my cut and I am so happy! I needed a few inches off and to have my layers kept. When I walked in, two people welcomed me and one woman asked me what I wanted. After I explained, she had me wait for another stylist, saying he’s better at layers. That was so considerate, being sure I got the best! Walk-in, cash only which is my favorite business model. The stylist was quick and efficient, and respected my desire for no chatting prices are super reasonable and I am so happy with the cut! It’s fluffy and flowy and exactly what I wanted!! I highly highly recommend this hair cutter!!!

The salon is clean and staff are cordial. However, this is NOT the place to go for a blowout. I’ve tried 3 times with different hairdressers – each time has been a disappointment/semi fiasco. Last week one of the hairdressers used a product in my hair that resulted in my hair being greasy and heavy – I’ve never experienced anything quite like this and had to re-wash and restyle it as soon as I got home. The salon seems more geared to haircuts and other types of grooming.

Great cut and line up. Cost for a haircut is $20 for men and $30 for a beard too. With tip, toss in another $5. Tony gave me a cut and he did a great job. The owner is absolutely hilarious. Nice atmosphere, clean, quick and welcoming. Cash only so bring your ATM card. Good operating hours as well. I’ll be back.
