I had my dreadlocks done here , and all the employees always me well and Im always in a comfortable setting. All my family have been coming here for 5 years , I tried other salons , but this is the best by far. They are very versatile in braiding different styles and types of hair.

I was recommended to Bethel’s and if I followed the negative reviews, I would have stayed away. I went a week ago and Rose did an amazing job with my hair! The ladies are friendly and we had pleasant discussions while I was there. I have been receiving compliments on my braids all week. Thank you ladies for a job well done!!

First of all, they are very rude when you are trying to call and make an appointment. They are constantly texting you, rushing you over to the shop, and saying rude things to you while you’re trying to tell them what you want. I saw them do this to me & two other women who were trying to make an appointment. Then when I arrive there they begin to belittle my hair and explain to me that I can’t get the style that I want because my hair is too natural. I have been getting the same TWO goddess/Ghana braids for years and they have never been a problem with my natural hair. I began to tell them this & the woman who was supposed to do my hair began to get angry with me because I was showing her pictures of the same style on my own hair. After my hair was washed I tried to show the woman how I wanted my hair done & she began to get mad because she couldn’t do my hair how she wanted it done. She then began to belittle me & tell outrageous things at me. I tried to call the situation down, but she wouldn’t let me so I told her I would go to another braiding shop. While this was all happening the woman’s daughter who looks to be around the middle school age was very upset I was telling her mother to calm down so she began to try to yell at me too; I shut the entire situation down eventually & told them I would just leave & her my hair done by someone else. This was the most infuriating, frustrating, and shortest braiding experience I’ve ever had. Do not go here.

BEWARE!!! I normally don’t do reviews but this place was so horrible that I had to share. If you look at the positive reviews they mostly have african names. This place is a black hole and I should have realized that from the sign they have posted saying that “they are not responsible for loss of hair or hair that comes loose” what type of buisness that actually cares about their customers and their hair would have that posted? There was even a young girl who was having her hair finished and wasn’t satisfied after her hair looked nothing like the picture she showed them. That was another sign that this place was a disaster that I ignored. My daughter and I spent an entire day there just for one of her box braids to come loose the NEXT DAY! I showed the lady a picture of cornrows that I wanted from 4 different angles and she still did it how she wanted to which was NOTHING like the picture. I could go on and on with reasons why you should avoid this place like the plegue but I don’t have the time. Just take heed and go elsewhere. Nia Soule in Norcross does a pretty good job and is clean which bethel is FAR from. I regret not sticking with them.
