I have never took time out of my day to write a review before, which is why I’m using my boyfriends account to share this, but a male stylist with long hair took me in as a walk in and I asked for a slight trim just to get some dead ends off, the top of my head has half the hair cut off and dared to charge me 75$ for a simple trim. Haircut is awful and pricing was definitely ripping me off. Terrible experience. Hope this helps the next person who needs a quick cut.

She walked me through what hair to get, she was on time, and finished my hair very quickly and it was EXACTLY how I wanted it to look! I’ve never used this salon before, but my mother did back when they were on Mary Esther road and they did great. I went to get micro braids at first and got an appt with Shayna very professional and everyone was friendly and fun atmosphere. I text ms Shayna a few days before my appt and asked if I could switch to goddess locs, she said yes but on a diff day got a new date told me the hair to get as I’ve never had this style done before and I sent her a pic of what I wanted. 6 hrs later on the day of appt I ended up with butterfly locs according to ppl that know locs and I had suspected it wasn’t goddess locs as the were not uniform. They did not look bad at all, but was not what was asked for. Fast forward I’m taking them out and idk what she used in my hair but it hardened in spots onto my hair(only had the locs in for a week) and it ripped my hair out. For anyone thinking of getting this style done I would go elsewhere this was not it and it’s sad that I had to write this, but hopefully it helps someone else and possibly the staff cuz like I said they are very friendly and fun, but ms Shayna does not know how to do goddess locs and should def not use whatever product she put in my hair on anyone else. Critical: ValueI went there to receive goddess box braids for my birthday was completely not what I asked for she did not complete the ends and made the hair tangle the way she did the technique was completely wrong and I personally could’ve done it myself and saved about $100 in my pocket it should not be almost $200 and you do not know the correct technique of braiding hair also did not ask me what size I showed her a picture and it was definitely a different size than I expected do not go to get goddess box braids until she is properly educated even YouTube shows you how to do it correct.
