I love this place. Moving from Indiana, and trying to start all Over, new state, new city, new drs etc…finding this nail salon was a blessing. I’m very picky when it comes to my nails and pedicures, I tried others but they are spot on! Very nice, polite, speak great English and they make you feel welcome! You are not just a person coming in for services but you are like their guest in their home!! I highly recommend Best Nails!! Their names speaks beyond itself!!

Critical: QualityEveryone here was super nice. The tech that did my dip manicure did a great job shaping them. Unfortunately 24 hours after I got them done the top coat started peeling off…usually dip lasts at least two weeks. I came back and he redid the top coat. Less than two days later and they are already chipping and cracking. I’m not sure if it is the product or application but unfortunately I won’t be back. Everyone here was super nice. The tech that did my dip manicure did a great job shaping them. Unfortunately 24 hours after I got them done the top coat started peeling off…usually dip lasts at least two weeks. I came back and he redid the top coat. High quality work, very friendly staff. I go there every two weeks and have never been disappointed. Not sure where the other ratings come from, but sure not the salon I’ve come to know and love. Yes, they sometimes speak their native language because their elder mother works in the salon and doesn’t speak English. Totally acceptable to me…I am not offended by this, in fact I find it endearing to their mom. I have recommended several of my friends to Best Nails and they all rave about it too. Definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been going to this salon since 2004 when I started a new job a few blocks away. Tanya & Bobby the original owners were great people. Prices & service was great! Was sad to see them sell & move to Orlando. Ask about them often since current owners are family members. Only took a short time to establish a relationship with new owners/staff. I”ve retired so no longer close but still drive drive from Nokomis. Prices are higher than they were with prior owners but timeas passed & all prices go up with time. Checked a couple of places & their prices are competitive. In case some of the Negative review people haven’t noticed most nail salons are run by people if Vietnamese descent. It’s not any more rude for them to speak their foreign tongue than the countless Latinos who can speak English but refuse to do so at all. All the staff will engage in an English conversation with you if you talk to them! So what if they are talking about you, get over it! We Rude Americans say rude things to ea other all the time!! Pedicures & any nail wrk are always great & on the rare occasion something doesn’t meet your expectations Speak Up & they Will make it right! Don’t whine in a review without giving them a chance!! I would Highly Recommend Best Nails & have to family & friends. They all are Happy with their wrk, Prices & staff! Congrats to Amy & her Hubby for their 2nd child! A beautiful baby girl! I always enjoy Chatting with all the great Ladies, Gentlemen & staff while having my nails done as a wonderful social time!! Also you might try some other salons & realize Best Nails isn”t the terrible place you make it out to be!! Loyal customer for 15 yrs!! The people that work there are RUDE. Only one person can do nails good… but only IF she is in a good mood. If she is mad at her husband or some other reason you will get a horrible job done. They continually speak another language even though they are fluent in English. It is obvious that they are talking about the customers. Unfortunately we really don’t have anyplace good in Venice that does nails.

DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Took my grandmother here as a part of a Christmas present. (She was going to get a manicure and a pedicure, I was getting a full set and a pedicure) while doing my nails they did an okay job. Then charged me for a pedicure for me and my grandmas stiff and then finished my nails and walked away. I assumed I was waiting for someone to get done to do my pedi. With my grandmas they didn’t do anything but rub her feet and legs. And just painted her nails. Then they claimed they didn’t charge me for my pedicure when I know for a fact she did, and told me I’d have to come back the next day (Christmas Eve) to get my pedicure that I paid for. Not happy. Then the next day my nails started coming of. I was doing nothing but typing on my computer. I will NEVER go back there I’ll pay the extras gas cost and go to Diva nails at the Sarasota square mall. Don’t waist your money here.
