I went to this establishment twice and the first time wasn’t my best experience and they didn’t set off a great impression but I thought I would give them a second chance. So I booked my appointment in advance and I wanted the owner Vi to do my refill for my lashes, just like I asked for the first time I went. But of course they gave the same run around they gave me the first time I went there. They said Vi was busy and the receptionist wrote it down wrong. So I complained and Vi started to do my lashes for me and taped my eyes and told me not to open them. Then I realized another person’s voice was talking to me and doing my lashes for me. I was shocked to know that a business owner would handle a situation like this! She just tried to fool me then think I wouldn’t notice?!! Then at the end they wanted to charge me $110 for a refill, which a refill is usually around $50, but I didn’t agree with their price so they said $90. But of course that wasn’t worth it either because they didn’t even fill my lashes in all the way! I was tired of arguing with them so I just paid them. I would definitely NOT recommend going to this salon unless you enjoy being lied to and being in an unorganized mess of a salon! They should change their name from Best Nail Spa to Lying Lashes and Cheap Nails!

I was pleasantly surprised with the first mani/pedi at this salon. Although the nail salon is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, when you open the door you are greeted by a clean and airy salon. The decor is fairly new and the staff are very friendly. My husband also had a pedicure while we were there and he was very pleased with the service. The salon has new owners and they are doing a great job. I will definitely be back, this is my new go to salon on Maui.

I really really wanted to like this place. But the application of my gel polish was bad, resulting in my hair getting caught in it and nails lifting. This is because the polish was applied over the skin and not just the nail bed. So now a week later I’m going to have to go somewhere else and get my nails done again. I cant stand how bad it feels, rough and lifting from the cuticle area. Gave 3 star because customer service was great and friendly. Just nail tech seems to not know how to apply gel polish correctly. I’m bummed out.
