My and my two daughters are visiting Monterey and needed to blowdry our hairs. We’re staying in the hotel in front of this salon. The ladies were really nice and everything was great, only downside is I think the price is too high, $50 per washing (we took our shampoo/conditioner) and blowdrying (simple blowdry)/per person. Don’t know if it’s the regular price or it’s because we’re tourist and evidently only visiting for the day.

Jila, Mina and Co are great hair stylists and even better people. I had a 5 year patronage at Best Cuts back in the days when I had hair to cut (I rapidly descended into baldness after our twins arrived in 2017). Now I get to take my boys whenever they’re getting overly shaggy. Such is life!

There are something like 17 barbershops in a radius of about 1 mi. Turns out I just go to the best one. The owner is sincere, remembers your name, and remembers your hairstyle. Great place and cheaper than most other spots outside of Salinas.

Friendly, quick, great prices, and always welcomes walk ins. Took my significant other to get his hair and beard cut right before a wedding and they took us in imediatly and it didnt even take 20 mins to fix him up. Would definitely go back any time i visit.
