If I could give a negative 1 I would. I was referred to this shop and I spoke with Bernade about 4 times to confirm this appointment and even called the day before to confirm appointment and I got such an unprofessional response that when she scheduled the appointment she was sick so she didn’t put it down. Like what!!!! Lol you can’t make these things up then she confirm to come and I come and guess what another lame excuse that the person that’s suppose to do called just before I walked in because they had an emergency.

The lady who did my hair was unprofessional and seemed like she didn’t want to do my hair in the first place. She did an ok job, I braid hair from the time I got out her chair I knew the work she had done was not worth $155 and I have a $5 tip . I reached out to figure what they can do for me, I was told I would get a call ? Nothing but they all swear they’re so holy . I now have to take my braids out because it looks like I had them in for months and I got them done 2 weeks ago . I got medium large box braids that is already looking like it’s ready to come out . The lady who did my hair was unprofessional and seemed like she didn’t want to do my hair in the first place. She did an ok job, I braid hair from the time I got out her chair I knew the work she had done was not worth $155 and I have a $5 tip . This shop owner (Bernade) is completely Unprofessional and does not deserve to have clientele. I booked an appointment with her 2 days prior, received a text confirming the appointment for 8:30am. I took the day off from work to get my hair braided and when I got there Bernade already had someone in her chair. She gave me absolutely no explanation or apology. Just said it was a “miscommunication “ and to come back in the afternoon. I showed her the text of her confirming the appointment and my response with yes confirmed and she said NOTHING, just proceeded to braid the other persons hair without any remorse. I wasted a PTO day and she literally did not care. I was so upset but had to be the bigger person and walk away just knowing she lost a client and I would never ever recommend her to anyone else. Critical: Professionalism, ValueI called and asked for box braids the previous day before I came in and was told to come the next at 8am. when I arrived the shop wasn’t even open, I sat in the chair getting my hair done for about 4 hours, I noticed that when I was getting my hair done the stylist kept pushing the chair down when I would try and take a peak of my hair, when she was done and wrapping everything up she pushed my hair back into a ponytail and I left assuming that I had box braids due to me having poor vision (she started the twists with braids so that’s why I thought I had box braids) I came home and fully looked at my hair and to my horror I had the wrong style and ugly one at that. I called to complain only to have the owner be unprofessional and tell me I told her twists when we both agreed to box braids. She always do a good job on my hair. I don’t remember the lady that did my hair today but she is so good at Braiding she gets me right all the time, she has done my hair more then once and it always looks good when she is finished.

I was calling around and came across this place, the lady answered the phone she seemed nice, I was asking about pricing for box braids, she stated that she had to see my hair and then she will give me a price, she stated that she wouldn’t charge much. So I figured it was worth the try.

First I made an appointment for 1pm, and my hair was not really started until 3pm. I bought hair prior to the appointment and she did not accept it because it is “not the type of hair she uses” therefore making me spend $145 instead of $130 because she had to supply the hair. I asked for a particular style and it was not what I asked for. Not only that but the place was unkempt, the other hairdressers used a dirty towel to dry my hair with and to put on my shoulders. She did another woman’s hair and it came out great, I don’t know why mine came out terrible. So for me it was a terrible experience.
