This salon is beautiful, new and clean! The staff are incredibly welcoming and it is super easy to text or call for appointments, with good hours for people with day jobs. I was honored to meet and have my new acrylic nails done beautifully by the owner Ben. He takes great pride in his work and is a true artist. He excels at unique designs but will also quickly accomplish basics with just enough flare. This was my second visit and it was just as pleasant as the first. When I had a pedicure the massage and attention to detail was a nice surprise. Thank you Ben and your team! I’m thankful to have a lovely salon to go to after work in the Newbury Park area.

This is my 3rd visit at Benz and Ben himself was terrific. Professional and talented. I was introduced to Bio Gel. Directly over my real nails with no damage to my real nail and the color lasts for more than 3 weeks. I’m also a scuba diver and just got back from diving and swimming for 2 weeks and my nails lasted and looked great. I’m hooked. Also have had a couple of terrific pedicures.

Unfortunately I have to give this negative review. I did not want to. I went back to try and have my nails fixed four days after my initial appointment and I was still disappointed. My nails are super thick and they’re peeling the clear coat. I paid 65 dollars plus a 10 dollar tip and I’ve paid 25 dollars for a better set than this. My final straw was this morning, my right pointer finger just popping right off. No pian. Just popped right off. I tried to have them fixed in hopes of not leaving this review and as the days go by, and the more I look at my nails I’m disgusted. I will post pictures as proof. I got these done on the 7th of this month they should not be falling off. I also wanted to keep the original length of my natural nail and I was very specific with the receptionist and the tech prior the the guy who came, sat down, and chopped all my natural nails off before I could even get a word out. I had also mentioned to the receptionist I was having a terrible day. The whole experience was terrible besides my pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure did amazing and she was super nice.

Ben did my nails this time! It was a few weeks since I have been in and it felt so good to be back. The staff treated me the same as the always have. So happy with these paint drip nails! They went great with my painter costume. Can’t wait to go back for my next set!

I have been a loyal customer for a couple of months now. But the last time that I had a manicure and a waxing, the salon used the wrong color from the picture that I provided And when I said so they said oh maybe you can choose that green shade next time.

I do not normally write reviews – however, undoubtedly probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my 25+ years of religiously getting my nails done. Paid extra for the ‘honey bee’ which includes callus remover/scrub/hot stone/hot towel massage – callus remover was not left on for even 30 seconds – no massage whatsoever, one hot stone rubbed on my foot and shin for a minute maybe, no pressure, no massage, hot towel was cold because it has been taken out at the same time as the stone and we still hadn’t necessarily finished the foot scrub/callus remover – not to mention the paint job on my toes is a joke my 9 year old could’ve done better… half the toenails don’t even have polish on majority of the nails, polish and toenails themselves uneven, etc. finger nails were better but not significantly or enough to make me change my perspective or alter my experience/review entirely – I did black dip – manicurist was super sweet and took her time, i could tell she was focused on doing a good job and i really didn’t have any complaints about her aside from the fact that i left with black all around my nail beds on every single finger and on every single finger pad (i usually do french tip dip so black dip was a first for me- maybe this is normal?)…i went to the front and paid (did not have time to complain or ask for them to be fixed had kids that needs to be picked up) the lady behind the desk looked at my nails as i paid and immediately said do you want me to have them clean that all up for you … i had already shown the manicurist the residue on every single finger who told me to wash my hands which i did to no avail, then she assured me wash your hands a few times it will come off later … what can i say – i was trying a new place because it’s close to my kids dance studio, i am there all the time and would love to have a place nearby to love and make use of my wait time… i had an hour and a half to kill today- however i will not be going back. while the women at the front and both ladies doing my nails were incredibly sweet and friendly, the paint job and overall pedi experience leaves me with the take away of ‘do not return’…. the place was packed and seemed like with many loyal happy customers who converse like friends with their manicurists – which is nice to see, i did not have an appointment- maybe like anywhere you just need to know which manicurist is the best and make an appointment with them … but additionally, the front desk worker also walked around asking everyone if they needed drinks… water, oj, Prosecco i believe..but i wouldn’t know because in the hour and a half i was there she never asked me if i wanted or needed anything … if i hadn’t left with black alll around every nailbed and finger pad i would’ve given it 3 stars because really the ladies were super sweet and kind (but at the same time that’s not what i am paying for) …. so i’ll be trying some others in the area to occupy my time while i wait for my kids at dance this year. $115 later … id rather spent my time grocery shopping, or online shopping or scrolling on my phone in the dance studios parking lot.
