I’ve been to the Brow Bar many times to have my brows waxed and will say this…it’s hit or miss depending on who does your service. I went a few days ago to have my brows tinted (for the first time) and was scheduled with Cynthia and had a wonderful experience.

I was accidentally scheduled at this location (Newport, Ky) but didn’t mind because I tend to do some shopping in this area. I arrived a few minutes early for my 1100 appt and although the store was not busy and there was no one inline I didn’t receive the usual greeting from the rep working the checkout line. I also noticed there was no one at the Brow Bar so I asked the one person at the checkout if she knew where Nicole was, the person my appointment was with. She very nonchalantly said “oh I haven’t seen her” and went back to texting in her phone; after I asked her to try to find out what was going on she then called back to the salon and was told the same. I waited ten minutes and then she tells me “well, I’d leave if I were you” as if she knew Nicole wasn’t there and wasn’t coming in anytime soon. She did not attempt to reschedule nor did she care at all about correcting the issue. I called the store manager and she was completely unenthusiastic about the entire situation other than to say “well I came out to see you and was going to offer brow service back in the salon for free”. By that time I was already halfway home into my 30 min drive. I have no idea what is up with this location but the terrible customer service has left me with an overall disdain for Ulta in general now.
