This place has been here a really long time. She used to cut my dad’s hair. I don’t live in the area anymore but my mom still does. Took my son here today. He hates getting his hair cut because he has had bad experiences where his ear has been nicked. After his haircut today he said she was very gentle and he felt comfortable. They are very friendly. Called when they opened on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze us in.

Grace, her husband Eric, and daughter Virna (sp) efficiently and professionally cut and style hair, changing reasonable prices. It’s one of those family run establishments where everyone knows your name and treat you like family.

This is my go to hair studio in San Carlos. Super friendly, family run joint with $12 cuts… in this day and age! There’s obviously no head massage or washing even but that’s the point! They get to your hair and cut it within 10 mins. Utilitarian and they are happy to cut the way you want.

Most intimate hair studio in the Bay area. If you enjoy visiting an amiable place where smiles are abundant, people are charming, and haircuts are cheap, definitely check this one out.
