I’m using this salon because of Luigy. He has been my professional hair stylist for years now. I follow him anywhere he goes. Not often can you find someone with so much experience like him ( like 30 years or more) but also has a master’s in color treatment. Every time I get my hair done with him, I’m so happy, and my hair is happy. I love the Aveda products, so it is an excellent combination of great products and an exceptional professional treating my hair and giving it a great style.

I continue going to this salon because of Luigy. He has been my hairdresser for almost a year now. He restored my hair back to health. He knows Aveda products extremely well and is a Master hairstylist. He knows what he is doing! My hair looks health, the color mix he created resembles my natural hair color. Customer service in the salon is excellent as well. I can’t complain. I highly recommend Luigy!

Luigy explained what he wanted to do and costs prior to starting and then went all out with the most gorgeous colored highlights on my hair. Still, a guys haircut is not the same as a blonde’s color… I scheduled my appointment with Luigy, and I’m blown away with the amazing results! I’ve had highlights for years, but after consulting with Luigy, he recommended balayage. Wow, just wow. I’m beyond thrilled with the results – perfect color! ANNA gave me the WORST haircut EVER! She is a level 1 stylist and it shows. She does not know how to communicate (appears cold) or cut hair. Instead of asking for advice from a higher level stylist, she cut/completely THINNED my thick crown and bangs, while instructing me to “take vitamins.” Prior to her cutting, I indicated I wanted “full bangs” that I could round brush for styling. As this was my first service with her, I was very specific and asked her to only “dust the ends.” Unfortunately, her arrogance got the best of her. Don’t be fooled by a number of people in their website photo, many of them have left and I can see why, after repeated phone calls and discussions with Aveda Corporate, the owner never bothered to contact me. I only received an automated template response.

I followed Luigy to Bellisimo and have been going there for about a year– every 4 weeks–I schedule months in advance. The past 2 appointments Luigy has been over 20 minutes late. The last appointment he didn’t start until 2:15p and my appointment was at 1:30p. No apology from salon. I actually had to leave with WET hair because I had another appointment to get to. I left without tipping– my time is just as valuable. Luigy ended up texting me and asked what was wrong. I will not be returning to this salon. I understand he is a Master Colorist with Aveda and he does do excellent work but the customer service is just as important. Calls to have a salon manager call me went unreturned.
