The nail tech (Jess) is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and caters to your specific nail needs. She paid close attention to detail in her work and provided top notch customer service. Me and my boyfriend just happened to stumble upon this nail shop while roaming our neighborhood and decided to check it out. The nail tech (Jess) is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and caters to your specific nail needs. She paid close attention to detail in her work and provided top notch customer service. It’s SO clean, it practically sparkles. All the equipment and furniture are brand new as well. And it has really cute, cohesive branding, which is not something I’ve ever encountered in an independently owned nail shop, tbh. Because it’s so new, I was able to get an appointment on a Friday before Memorial Day weekend, which is how I found it because the other local shops I’ve used in the past were all booked up.On to the service: I’m basic, so I just got a basic pedi, but the service was outstanding. Jess knows her stuff! She is clearly passionate about her work, and it shines through in the quality of her service. Though my service was basic, she is clearly talented at all the nail trends, and I would trust her with more complicated services as well. I also met the owner, Justin, while I was there. Both were very gracious and welcoming. I left feeling like I stumbled onto a gem.I will be a regular at this shop from here on out, and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. Critical: Quality, ValueWhere do I begin with my experience today. I came here based off the high rating and reviews. I had 1 bad nail that was lifting pretty bad and my regular nail tech was booked. Jakaria (sp?) did my nails. I only came in for a refill & gel polish. This literally was the worst nail service in my life! I don’t know if she just got out of school or it was her first week, but she doesn’t have alot of experience and it showed. First, the drill bit she used to shave off my gel left rigid and rough imprints in the acrylic which means 2 things: she needs a new drill bit or her speed was up to high. Next, she had no idea how to remove the lifted part of my nail and had to ask for assistance. Next after she applied the refill, the next drill bit she used to shave the acrylic down was rough again and left very rough imprints in my nails. She also was shaving the nail down in multiple different directions which I’ve never seen before. The filing was horrible! Thank God my nail regular tech’s filing job was still there because she only gave 3 files at the tip and on each side for each finger! I couldn’t believe it! No effort at all! The buffer she used was rough and harsh too. Then she told me to go wash my hands. I said if you paint that, those same imprints will show! My nail should be smooth and not feel like it just went through a shredder! Next she pulled out this tiny little square buffer that helped to shave down the rigidness in my nails. Her nail painting was horrible too. The color is uneven and has streaks in the nails. I also have never seen any tech wipe away excess gel polish with a warm towel. My nails were left with bubbles in them, extremely lumpy looking, uneven gel polish, i had to put alcohol on my nails bc they still felt sticky from the gel and I had to properly file my nails. Extremely disappointed and definitely will not be back.
