Belle D’ Mir Med-Spa has been a Dream in the making for a long time. As a Health Advocate and Cardiologist, Dr. Mir Varquez has a passion for people and is equally as passionate about helping her patients feel their best. One thing Dr. Mir Varquez #NewYouthMD discovered after being in practice for over 25 years is that her patients often lacked the confidence that comes from feeling and looking your best. ABOUT DR. MIR VARQUEZ
I was born in Hong Kong to parents who escaped mainland China during the communist takeover. We migrated to the Philippines where I grew up. I completed pre-med in medical technology in Velez college in Cebu and went on to Cebu institute of medicine. I graduated valedictorian and magna cum laude from both schools. I topped the Philippine board exam (2nd or third place? It’s been a long time ago), then finally came to the USA as I was not able to undergo further training in the Philippines because I was an alien. I started my internal medicine residency, then chief residency, and then finished my fellowship in cardiology. I completed my residency and fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. I graduated from medicine in 1985.In 1993 I started my first practice in Fort Payne, Alabama and after that moved to Cullman Alabama in 1995. I have been practicing in Cullman Alabama since 1995. Practically 24/7. I am boarded in internal medicine (Fellow American Board of Internal Medicine),

I know I am way past time to post this on here. I have been going to Dr. Varquez since August 2019. A friend of mine was going to her for botox injections and wanted me to go with her. when I walked in that day, I walked in a very tired and stressed out lady, and it really showed on my face. Dr. Varquez sat down in front of me and studied my face and skin. Then she begin her treatments on me. After the first visit I could already see my skin changing. It looked more alive, and not so tired and stressed. She is talented, professional and personable. And as a client, I reap the benefits. I have had the face filler, and lip fillers… amazing!! I have also purchased the skin care products she carries in her office. Amazing!! they last you for several months. I am 54 year’s old. I have been told I look like I am in my early 40’s I have had skin care consultants from other companies tell me my skin looks great, and ask me what have I been using. Yes!!! I do feel like a new woman, and I owe it all to Dr. Varquez. She is the kindest, sweetest lady I know. She never gets in a hurry when she is in there with you. She studies your skin before she starts any treatment. And another plus, she has the most amazing staff. They are always friendly, and very eager to help you.
