If you’re looking for excellent service and maintenance for your hair (along with some advice about hair care), then you have nothing to worry about. All of the staff knows what they’re doing, and they know what you want for your hair even when you’re not sure. All of the time and the work are worth it because you leave the salon feeling fabulous! PEOPLEE. If you need a silk press, this is your place!! Listen, I am mixed baby with curly hair and for forever I have been trying to find a go to salon that will not kill my hair. My reservation was super easy to do with a deposit that goes towards your final total. I got there 15 min early not expecting to be taken in early or anything but they called me in pretty much right away. As soon as I sat down, at least three attendees fluttered around me and were ready to start my appointment by taking down my hair, offering water and getting the wash ready. They asked if I. bleached my hair and used the corresponding products for my type of hair (no additional charge). While they worked with me the main stylist made sure to check on what they were doing as they may have been apprentices. One thing I definitely loved is how considerate they were of temperature and pain. They were consistently asking if anything hurt which it did not. After my hair was washed and blowdried, the main stylist/owner? came over and started the actual service of my silk press. This girl talked to me like I have known her for years. She gave me great advice for the future of my hair while perfecting my look. For my trim, I told her to cut off whatever is needed. But she made sure to leave me looking fire and even. Now for any cons (which there are not many but definitely things to improve on). 1) Pricing when I made my appt. it said nothing about a wash and I came with my hair detangled and clean but they did wash it regardless. Now I know add-ons are apart of these services which is no problem but for future customers just be aware you may have pay a little b it extra. 2)Attentiveness of the apprentices: I think that the apprentices really elevate the salon but the one that was working on me put purple shampoo in my hair and left in for two long so the front two strands of my blonde hair are now pink. Luckily the manager stepped in and alerted her. I personally was happy with the customer service so I was not that big of deal for me. The second time the apprentice messed up was when she put me under the dryer, it was way too hot for the length of time I was in it. Once again its a small thing that one should be attentive too but I only mention it because she is an apprentice and is there to learn. Even with all of that, I cannot sit here and call the service anything less than superb. The customer service and final look was exactly what I wanted!! I already have an appt. in January. Hope to see yall there.
