Critical: ProfessionalismDo not come here! I had booked and appointment and they required a down payment which was fine but then called before going to ask a question and they told me i didn’t have an appointment and had nothing in the system of who i was.I checked my bank account and the money was taken out of my account so i knew i had an appointment with them or was in the system somewhere. The women who answered the phone was also very unprofessional and had no idea what she was talking about. Not only that they lied about the pricing over the phone. I would not recommend coming here there are a lot of other places that are very good!Do not come here! Do not come here! I had booked and appointment and they required a down payment which was fine but then called before going to ask a question and they told me i didn’t have an appointment and had nothing in the system of who i was.I checked my bank account and the money was taken out of my account so i knew i had an appointment with them or was in the system somewhere. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityWas witness to a friend having a really bad experience at this salon. She went in for a wig installation and unfortunately was unable to complete her service due to having to leave because it was taking too long. The stylist tried to manage multiple girls at once and unfortunately did not compensate the right amount of time for each client therefore allowing a job that should have been only an hour to go much longer. The stylist was able to rearrange another day where she could come back and complete the installation especially because it was not completed the first day and after that day her wig continued to come out of place, but when she came back, they refused to finish her installation because she had her daughter with her. Nowhere around the store does it state that children are not allowed in the salon and the stylist had the nerve to say she didn’t feel safe because she has a tendency of the dropping her scissors in her clients laps. Also, wig prices are extremely expensive and you would only hope that the installation fee was included in the price but it’s not. Was witness to a friend having a really bad experience at this salon. She went in for a wig installation and unfortunately was unable to complete her service due to having to leave because it was taking too long. Let’s start off with I scheduled my appointment for last week Friday and was not seen until the following week. The receptionist told me I would be scheduled for a Friday appointment but what she didn’t tell me was she scheduled the appointment for A Friday in JUNE. We are in the beginning of MAY that doesn’t make any sense. when I went in no one knew I had an appointment that day. I decided to give them a chance and rescheduled the following week. However, I DIDNT see not one baracide for their combs at any of their stations including the washing station. They had a stylist that specializes in braiding doing a Silk press and it was horribly done. I’m ALL natural and the stylish didn’t get my roots or attempt to give a different look. My hair looked lifeless. She tried to sweeten it up by putting edge control on my baby hairs but if she would’ve preformed the silk press the right way there would be NO NEED for edge control. If Bellazon hair spent as much time on a silk press as they do on the wigs and weaves then MAYBE JUST MAYBE this would be a 5 star review but it’s the no baracide for me. This place is suppose to be a 5 star hair salon. I don’t think so. Let’s start off with I scheduled my appointment for last week Friday and was not seen until the following week. Critical: ProfessionalismI moved a street over from the salon a year ago. In October called to have a stylist for my wedding. No one returned any of my phone calls or inquiry online. Figured their loss and I went with someone else. But recently decided to give them a try again. Since they are so close and with everything going on, it would be most convenient. So, called twice and was told someone would return my call. No one did. Called the next day and was told not only are they now fully booked (before a photo shoot with my newborn son), but also, they are unable to do the style I had described on the phone twice before. So frustrating and a waste of time. Spoke with the owner before this review to let her know how a potential new customer was and is being treated, and how she was missing out on new business (my wedding and now this), but all I received was an excuse about how busy they are. Good for you. Happy you’re so busy and business is booming, but have a system in place and treat each customer with respect. She could have said sorry about that, we are busy but let’s see when we can fit you in. Or give us another chance, we value you as a customer. None of that was said. This is a black salon in my new neighborhood. Tried to support it. I’ll just bring my hard earned money and word of mouth elsewhere. I moved a street over from the salon a year ago. In October called to have a stylist for my wedding. No one returned any of my phone calls or inquiry online. Figured their loss and I went with someone else. But recently decided to give them a try again. Since they are so close and with everything going on, it would be most convenient.
