Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI read reviews on Bella Vita and Margaret from Nextdoor Neighbor site, all were good. I had my appointment last week. Margaret was early, reserved plenty of time for me. We went into a thorough discussion about my coloring needs – gray is growing out and wanted some kind of options/ideas. Margaret suggested an ash toner. She stood by the toner the entire time, wiping every now and then to be sure of the effect. I really liked the toner she applied below the gray (bottom part of hair faded part). She also trimmed it slightly. Overall, Margaret was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, took special time to explain various options, paid attention to detail, and it turned out nicely. I will be going back. After visiting a few salons in the area I finally found Margaret who knows how to do a razor cut and for the first time since moving to Charlotte from NY my hair looks great again. I have recommended Margaret to my daughter in law who could not find anyone to color and cut her hair since moving here from NY and she loves Margaret as well. We are now both steady clients and we highly recommend Bella Vita and Margaret.

Love this salon! I had been letting my hair grow out for over a year and desperately needed someone who could give it some shape and style. Margaret took the time to listen to what I wanted and suggested a couple of options. Now I like my cut so much I’ve gone back to have her do color as well. I’m very pleased with the results and highly recommend Bella Vita.

Absolutely love Bella Vita Salon! The owners Margaret & Madison are the nicest most genuine people! They do exactly what I want with my hair, and it always comes out great. Much better than any high end salon. Making appointments here is so easy and I never have to wait. Highly recommend these ladies.

I stopped in for some Aveda products and walked out confident to start having my hair cut/styled there. I went back the next day for my 1st appointment, and loved the cut Mikayla did. Really great! On my way out, I decided to set up a color appt. Got that done this week and loving it! Ive gotten more random & nice compliments today about my hair then I have all year. So happy I found a salon that’s local, talented, and friendly. Definitely WILL be returning to Bella Vita and NOT the stuck up & over priced South Charlotte area salon I had been going to.

I had my hair cut by Mikayla. She was very conscientious, which I really appreciated since I was trying a new place and new cut. She showed me where my hair would hit one cut and we talked about what length to cut it to be able to pull it back into a pony tail. She was also super friendly. Pretty sure I found my hair stylist in my new town!

Two owners are very rude. I scheduled two little boys haircuts during my own blowout. They claim they were never appointments and would only do them if they had spare time. Why would I schedule tentative appointments based on their spare time. Meanwhile my blow out took an hour and one owner sat around the whole time and the other sat around for half the time. They claim actual appointments didn’t show. Very rude and lazy staff. It’s a shame bc one stylist is rather good.

First time visiting. Arrived 5 minutes before start time. Also received a confirmation text the day prior of 12:45 start time. Arrived and waited 30 minutes before stylist came to me. Very unapologetic about being late stating that the appointment was schedule for 1pm. Front office was warm and welcoming. Stylist was not. Would not recommend. Very disappointed as I like to support small businesses in Mint Hill. Will not be back. Will not recommend.

I went here the other day to get a haircut and I was told to leave that they were closing at 3pm. To me it seem very weird that they were and everyone was leaving . So I had my wife who has blue eyes and blond hair go in and ask for a trim and they were still open .They had no plans of really closing .To me they seems racist and very rude. When one of the ladys told me they were closing she told me I need to leave now thats no way to talk to people . Little do they know who I am for the city.
