Cara, the owner, has been styling my hair for 10+ years. I have followed her from other salons to this salon, her very own. Cara has created the perfect atmosphere at Bella Vita – modern & chic, always clean, in the heart of downtown Bel Air, with a staff that is always friendly and welcoming. After 10+ years, I don’t have to say much to explain what I want done to my hair – Cara just always seems to know and most often, I sit back and just let her do her thing, and she nails it every time!

Johanna is literally the best. She did my hair for my vow renewal this past Saturday. She did a phenomenal job. She even saw me for a few extra consultations to help match me for hair extensions as she was very honest with me and let me know that because of how thin my hair is, I was never going to get the style that I wanted. Because, of the great match between my hair and extensions, nobody could tell, plus how Johanna styled it was absolutely beautiful and perfect! I would recommend her to anyone!

This is by far the best salon in Bel Air MD! It’s new, updated, clean & modern! Owner Cara is friendly, attentive & really cares about your experience at her salon, regardless of which great hairstylist you are using there. I personally go to Cara to get my hair done & she is amazing! But I have watched the other stylists do some fantastic work too & would recommend any of them because Cara wouldn’t let them work there if they weren’t excellent. Would highly recommend!

Cara is the only person I trust with my hair. I met her when she did my updo for my best friend’s wedding (which she absolutely nailed) and was hooked. I even let her dye my hair for the first time and it’s because of her that I’m finally ready to experiment more with my hair. She makes every 45 minute drive to the salon entirely worthwhile! She is one of the happiest, most professional, and most honest people I know. The new salon is absolutely gorgeous. I know how hard she worked to make the salon COVID-19 ready. She takes her profession and her duty to her clients very seriously. It’s an admirable quality. I cannot express enough the total package experience you get at Bella Vita. No one else is ever touching this hair again. It’s Cara or nothing!
