If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for a gel manicure on my natural nails to go out of town, at first i wanted tips but they said they couldn’t do tips with gel which i thought was stupid since other nail salons do that. When i asked for a specific design my nail tech caught an attitude and the tech also made my cuticle bleed from clipping too far. The nail job was so sloppy to the point where the next day my nail chipped off. I guess since I was young they felt they could treat me any kind of way. When I just called up there, I asked if when I came back tuesday if they could fix the nail politely, and the receptionist told me that it wasn’t okay and that they “cant after 7 days”, and she told me i needed to come sooner with the nastiest attitude and hung up on me (I can’t come sooner because I am going on a flight). Ever since their good nail techs left this location has gone so downhill. They seriously need better customer service.

It seemed like it was terribly inconvenient that my daughter and I came in for services, even though we had appointments. We were super rushed out. I was trying to spend a nice day with my daughter but this just didn’t seem comfortable or relaxing. The actual pedicure was fine, nothing special. I would give this place zero stars if it were possible. This place openly discriminated against my wife and daughter. They didn’t want to write a review, but I’m tired of businesses coming into our community and discriminating against and being rude to their main customer base. My wife and daughter went in to get a manicure and pedicure. There was a White lady in front of them talking to the receptionist. The White lady asked the receptionist if they take walk-ins. The receptionist gleefully replied yes and instructed the white lady to go in the back and wash her hands. There were several other African American women in the waiting area, the white lady was allowed by the staff to get immediate service with no appointment. My wife and daughter approached the receptionist and asked if they could take them as a walk-in, not knowing my wife and daughter heard the entire conversation the receptionist had with the White lady. The receptionist not only said no but told them they didn’t accept walk-ins and they would have to make an appointment. Don’t get me wrong, I understand how a business works. My wife and daughter are not nonconformists or malcontents, if the White lady were told to make an appointment, then my wife and daughter were prepared to schedule an appointment. Needless to say, my wife and daughter left and will not be going back. I suggest others not patronize a business that picks and chooses who they want to serve. Bella Lifestyle should maybe do a little research, according to the census Owings Mills is 56.8% African American, and Randallstown, the neighboring town, is 81.8% African American. No one is telling you to treat African Americans differently but give us the same treatment you give others.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI scheduled several appointments online for myself and my bridal party over a month ago for the day before my wedding. I got a text message the day before the appointments to confirm said appointments. I called 7-8 times before someone finally answered to double confirm, only to be told they couldn’t find the appointments. I asked about them being able to accommodate my needs, I was told late afternoon, only 30 minutes before the start of my rehearsal. I cancelled and will never recommend or go there. I was able to find another salon nearby that was more than willing and able to get me and 5 family members in for tips, mani’s, and pedi’s.I scheduled several appointments online for myself and my bridal party over a month ago for the day before my wedding. I got a text message the day before the appointments to confirm said appointments. The receptionist who claims she’s the owner is very rude and her customer service is terrible. The the salon is beautiful…very luxurious, but the overall experience is ruined as soon as you walk in the door. I’ve heard her conversations with many clients while I was waiting, she needs to learn some customer service skills before her business crumbles. There are lots of other salons to choose from in the area.

My father took me here for a daddy daughter pedicure night, after a work project. It was really nice. The lady’s made us laugh. We had wine. I got the Milk and Honey pedicure and my feet felt amazing afterwards. It’s a very relaxing experience and I can’t wait to go again.
