Bella Hair Salon

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI am a little overdue in writing this review, but I am very grateful to Bella Salon for how terrific they were with my mother. I made an appointment for her a little over a year ago and contacted them in advance to explain that she had recently had a stroke and was in suffering cognitive impairment as a result. She needed a new haircut that would look nice but be low maintenance for her, and I also wanted them to know before interacting with her that she might have difficulty answering questions or making decisions. It was hard for me sometimes watching her look like a deer in the headlights interacting with strangers who did not know. Bella Salon was amazing and went way above and beyond making her feel comfortable. They greeted her and treated her like a princess, and when they needed input from me, they were subtle and just included me in the conversation without making it obvious. It kept my mother’s dignity intact and she got a fantastic, beautiful hair cut. They were just so wonderful with her. I brought her back for a follow up appointment when she needed it and they remembered her and were just as wonderful. I believe she saw Lidia both times and Lidia did a fantastic job. We got so many compliments on the beautiful hair cut, and you should have seen my mother beaming. Unfortunately she has become bedridden since then and is in a facility out of state, so we have not been back since. A picture of her new hair popped up on my Facebook feed recently, though, and reminded me that I really needed to reach out to Bella Salon and say thank you. I am a little overdue in writing this review, but I am very grateful to Bella Salon for how terrific they were with my mother. I made an appointment for her a little over a year ago and contacted them in advance to explain that she had recently had a stroke and was in suffering cognitive impairment as a result. We are so happy with our experience at Bella Hair Salon! We got our haircuts on Thursday and four days later, me and her still can’t stop talking about how much we love them. I showed Debbie a TikTok of how I wanted my hair and she cut it and even styled it exactly how I wanted. My friend also got exactly what she wanted when Tanya cut her hair. It was such a nice experience and we had such a fun time having girl talk with them, too. My friend and I are students at UAlbany, so we aren’t really familiar with the area and were in desperate need of haircuts. We are so happy with our experience at Bella Hair Salon! We got our haircuts on Thursday and four days later, me and her still can’t stop talking about how much we love them.
