I love my hair every time I walk out of Bella Dawn. I have curly hair and have had a hard time finding someone who knew what they were doing. Melissa explains the products she wants to use as well as what cut/color would best suit my face/hair type. I enjoy my time spent in the salon, quiet time away from littles. Melissa is hilarious and we (my daughters included) truly love being made pretty again. Thanks girl

The last two times I went, I walked out feeling terrible about my hair. Usually, I get so excited to get my hair done. I always look forward to getting a new haircut. But the past two times- Melissa just scolded me on how damaged my hair was and how ugly my hair was. I tried to change the topic to something more positive but she just couldn’t say anything positive. She suggested buying overpriced products up front. I walked out feeling ugly and in tears. She really needs to lift the mood and make her clients feel more welcomed and beautiful. I will not be going back.

It’s been a couple of years since I have been to this salon since our family has moved. But, I was just thinking about Melissa (owner/stylist) the other day. Oh how I miss sitting in her chair, conversations, highlights, haircuts, and the best blowout style with just a hairdryer!!! She is very knowledgeable and cares about her clients hair, she is honest when it comes to what your hair can handle at each appointment and I always appreciated that. I always walked out with beautiful, blonde, healthy hair! I trusted her enough to chop my hair off once and it was such a fun style!! I always walked out with a pep in my step and a hair flip, haha! Before we moved she helped begin the process of growing it back out. So grateful I had the chance to sit in her chair. Miss you, Melissa!!!

This place is AMAZING! It took years to find a place that made me feel and look fabulous! I totally recommend this place.What an amazing salon! After several hair dressers and desperately searching for the one I’m thankful I found this place. Melissa really knows how to wow her clientele. She is absolutely amazing. She took her time and really perfected my color. The first time i came in to her beauty shop, my hair was damaged and brassy but leaving my hair felt brightened and healthy with the exact color and tone I requested and it’s been that way ever since she has been styling and coloring my hair. Melissa also cut my hair and I absolutely love It! One of the best cuts and color I have ever received. She took her time and really perfected everything. I’ve been coming here ever since.

I saw Melissa and told her I needed a change since I had mastered the ‘mom bun’. She took the time to ask questions about me and my lifestyle to figure out a cut that would work for me. She gave me a style i can wash and go with or style easily. Love my hair, will definitely be going back. Small enough to keep it personal, but has plenty of services including booking on line.

As a military spouse, finding a salon and stylist in each new place can be a real pain. After months of neglecting my hair upon arriving to the area, I visited a local salon and was super disappointed. I started to ask around, and one after another, heard good things about Bella Dawn. Needless to say, I found my place and my person! Melissa is a great stylist, and more than that, I always truly look forward to spending time chatting with her. The salon itself is a beautiful and relaxing environment with lots of special touches, and prices are super reasonable for all the quality. Melissa has a knack for finding the most unique things to share and it always makes for a fun experience. Most recently, they offered me a cup of Copper Cow coffee (amazing and a must try if you haven’t yet) while my color processed; I hated for the appointment to end! I’m already dreading having to find someone new when my time here is up. Thank you for making each appointment so enjoyable, and for giving me hair I love!

What a beautiful place to relax and find some peace during my travel! I couldn’t find anyone and anywhere to get my haircut when I drove through Kentucky until I remembered my very good friend of almost 20 years from Germany just opened her shop! I knew she could clean me up very well and she did! Melissa is the lady to go to for your needs! Very knowledgeable of her products and knows how to make her clients feel welcomed!
