I was amazed At how clean, comfortable, and relaxing the environment was. The receptionist Harmony was very welcoming, Jessica gave me the best facial I ever had & Bella was amazing walking me through the Facial procedure , while Raquel made sure I was comfortable. If I could rate this establishment 20 stars I would. I will definitely be returning.

Positive: ProfessionalismMy husband booked me a deep tissue massage for my birthday. I generally frequent other full service salons. This salon is blacked owned and the staff is friendly. It’s clean and they practice social distancing. In addition to my massage I had a silk press. I’ve never had a silk press before so I didn’t know what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprise how It came out. The only complaint I have would be, they were under construction and throughout my massage I could hear men talking and nails etc. dropping. Also I don’t like having men in the salon when I’mGetting my hair done. I wish they could have their own section. Other than that it was a great experience. My new favorite place. My husband booked me a deep tissue massage for my birthday. I generally frequent other full service salons. This salon is blacked owned and the staff is friendly. It’s clean and they practice social distancing. In addition to my massage I had a silk press. I’ve never had a silk press before so I didn’t know what to expect. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityOk so I stumbled on this little gem on GROUPON after searching “hair care near me.” I went on their website to discover that they offer a wide variety of services, so I went ahead & called them before I booked my Groupon voucher. The young lady on the phone (receptionist) was very helpful so I proceeded to book a wash & set along with a silk press for my natural hair being that I’ve been wearing wigs all throughout 2020 & I haven’t given my natural hair the care & attention it deserves. I went to Bella Body with very high hopes of how I wanted my hair to come out; although I was a bit skeptical because this was my very first time at this place. Well my expectations were met & exceeded when Stacey Brown finished washing & styling my hair, she massaged my scalp during the wash, she kept asking me if I was ok all while informing that she was new (it was so cute lol). She did a phenomenal job, my hair is nice & bouncy & everything that I was hoping for upon my arrival. Stacey was so professional when taking care of me she asked questions and when I answered she made recommendations like I should get a deep conditioning treatment as well which I did. Ok so I stumbled on this little gem on GROUPON after searching “hair care near me.” I went on their website to discover that they offer a wide variety of services, so I went ahead & called them before I booked my Groupon voucher. Excellent!!! Is how I would describe my experience at Bella Body Spa & Beauty Lounge. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the owner follows all COVID-19 safeguards to make sure that her staff and clients are safe. I am happy with my results thus far and I am happy that I chose Bella Body Spa & Beauty Lounge for my post operative care, and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Critical: QualityBEWARE!!! The staff are pleasant but I was highly unsatisfied with my service. I went there for a wash and blow dry, treatment and trim. I left there receiving a “silk press” that WAS NOT a silk press. It’s upsetting me and my homegirls because if you can’t go to Bella Body Spa & Beauty Salon, where can you go? It’s sad, really sad. I was debating if I should go to the Dominicans or them but I chose them because they were black, they were close to my house and the price was the same. She told me she could not blow dry my hair straight like the Dominicans and that she would have to use the flat iron as well. I said that is fine because the Dominicans do the same. JUST BECAUSE YOU USE A FLAT IRON AFTER A BLOW DRY DOES NOT MAKE IT A SILK PRESS! She did not follow any of the steps that you would take to do an actual silk press. Mind you, she forgot to trim my hair and the price came to $5 more than what I was quoted. I was told the price might change if I use a card therefore I used cash and the price still went up and I didn’t even get what I asked for. I do my hair better than this. My hair is so oily and stringy like I’m so confused. Mind you, she did not have me facing the mirror the whole time her hands were in my head. When she turned me around she really had the nerve to ask me if this is how I like to where my hair as if she did something wonderful. Just please, refer to the photo. I’m just so disappointed especially because they were very nice and practicing social distancing and disinfecting as much as possible. I couldn’t even bring myself to spazz on them. I left there receiving a “silk press” that WAS NOT a silk press. It’s upsetting me and my homegirls because if you can’t go to Bella Body Spa & Beauty Salon, where can you go? It’s sad, really sad.
