I specifically told the short one, I think her name is Bhavan, keep my eyebrows THICK and what did she do? Made them so damn THIN and she cut the ends off! How hard is it to listen to directions? I swear I should’ve waited for the other lady, the taller one. She does them way better and listens to what I say. I grew my eyebrows out for MONTHS and 5 minutes with this rude and harsh woman took that all away.

My name is Sandra. On Friday, April 28 at around 2:35pm I went to Bela Herbal on Jamaica Ave. and 113th Street. I requested a full face waxing. My face normally sting afterwards because I have sensitive skin. During the process the two women working there suddenly started talking over my face. When the woman working on my face finished the waxing (not to my satisfaction but I didn’t say anything) I paid the $20 fee gave her a $4 tip and left, I was in a hurry. When I reached home and looked in the mirror I noticed a portion of skin under my left eye was waxed off. I immediately called the salon and asked what happened. The woman advice me to go back. When I got there she said my skin is sun damaged and its not her fault. She then “tried to help” by applying a cream which left my face feeling as if I was on fire. I’ve been a customer at this place for years and was in disbelieve of what happened. I am brown skin woman and to suggest my skin is sun burned is outrageous. I do not tan or sit in the sun for color. Never Again. Now I have to consult with a dermatologist and hope I don’t have a permanent scar.
