I’ve been to a few spas in the area, plus one in Tulsa and one in Albany. This one seems to be the best of all I’ve visited. The massage is not “hurried” and done with care. It’s not a super busy place like some spots, so there’s no urgency for them to get you in and get you out quickly. Thus, it’s well worth the money and time. I’ve been going here for at least 7 years now. I recommend. I’m sorry some of these other folks had a not so perfect experience. It’s always good for me and that’s why I keep coming back.

I have been here over 10 times and have always had a very good massage. But the last 2 times were very bad. I wanted to leave during the massage. It was more like a gente rub with no care. Both times it was the lady. Today she fell asleep multiple times during the massage. I will not come back.

After finding out that a massage place on Emerson doesn’t exist anymore, my wife Norma and I randomly starting looking for massage locations on my Foursquare apt on the southside/greenwood area. We found Beijing Herbal Foot Massage on 12/4/2016 and thought we’d give it a try. We arrived around 3:20pm and walked in to find a professional, clean, modern but Asianesque looking facility with a very warm and relaxing ambiance…and there was no one else their waiting. We were greeted at the front desk upon entering by a very nice Chinese man. We showed him a coupon from my phone screen from online for a couples 1 hour foot massage for $45. I thought that was a great deal, and I also wanted a 1 hour full body massage to follow my one hour session with my wife – that was an additional $50, which I thought was also reasonable. My wife is 9 months pregnant, and they accommodated her needs (not laying on her back). Our 1 hour together was thorough and well done. We enjoyed it and the price was perfect. The man worked on my wife’s feet and a lady worked on mine. After we finished the lady led me to another private room for my 1 hour massage. I would give her an 80% out of 100%. It was pretty good, again keeping in mind the very affordable price. I’m a fairly strong male and she was impressively strong and forceful – keep in mind this was what I was looking for. I did specifically tell the man that greeted us that I wanted deep tissue, so maybe she was very firm for that reason. If you don’t like that, you could always ask her to ease up, but for me I’d rather have to tell someone to back off the pressure than get stuck with someone who doesn’t have the strength needed. I didn’t say a word to her, the pressure was perfect. Both he and her had licenses/permits. They have been at their location for 4 years. We would return to this location even though we live out in Franklin Township. Again, this was a great balance of quality and price. We were satisfied.

Stay away from this unprofessional place. My boyfriend called on 2-4-15 to make a reservation for two on Valentine’s Day (2-14-15) at 1pm. He was told no problem, see you then! We arrived on 2-14-15 at 12:55pm to be told that they do not see his last name on the list. So we asked can we pick another time that day, unfortunately they were booked. We informed her that a male answered the phone and she stated the owner is a male and he answers the phone a lot. We asked if she can get him to see if he remembers my boyfriend’s last name or phone number. And as predicted he was “not available” at the moment. The young lady told us we can make an appt time for tomorrow and it will be the same price, even after the mistake was theirs and even after showing her his phone call log on 2-4-15, the day appt was made. What a waste of a 45 minute drive. Thanks for ruining my Valentine’s afternoon.

last week was the first time i have ever had a massage of this type. i didn’t know what to expect and was very apprehensive to go, but i had been having such bad left shoulder and neck pain and i have arthritis in that area and this is where i carry all my stress and tension. well let me tell you, this was the best thing i could have ever done for myself. I was so amazed at how good i felt afterwards. the pain was gone, thank you so much to my massuse, i don’t know his name, but he was the best. i suspect that anyone that would take care of you there would be equally as wonderful.

I loved this places massages but I had one major problem the masseur was dropping sweat off of his face onto my back I wasn’t sure if it was what happened so I continued to lay there and it continued to happen until I finally went off about it.
