I’ve been going here for I don’t know how long. I’ve been seeing Erin since she was at Ulta. I’ve lived in San Diego and North Carolina and Erin still did my hair. I tried a few times to go to someone else and immediately regretted it. When I started working with Erin I hated my hair. It only looked like it should after I’d have it done then I would go back to looking like a bag lady again. Erin changed that for me. She asked me, how much time I wanted to spend on my hair. I don’t think she was ready to hear my answer. Which was five minutes or less. Fortunately for me she could work with the five minutes. So we’ve begin or Odyssey in hair. I’d grow it out and then I want to cut it off and she remind me how much I didn’t want to cut my hair off. She helped me remember that I was in it for the long-haul. I have a ton of long wavy hair now and I love my hair now. I don’t even spend 5 minutes on it anymore. Unless I’m washing and conditioning it. I now go see Erin maybe once or twice a year I just get my hair trimmed that’s all I have to do. My hair is all natural and I like it that way. I love that she doesn’t try to get me to do anything that wouldn’t be me. Erin as well as all her staff are amazing magical and creative.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was nervous to see a stylist after some hair loss last year, but Erin was very gentle with my hair and understanding. She immediately noticed I had waves in my hair and asked if I knew how to manage them and if I would like to learn. She taught me a LOT about taking care of my wavy hair and was so patient and kind. She spent way more time with me than she needed to, just to make sure I had all the knowledge I wanted that she could provide me. Before she even washed my hair she sat me down and said “So tell me about your hair.” I thought that was so wonderful cause I wasn’t sure how to bring up my concerns about my hair loss. She was so kind and helpful and really fun to talk to. I absolutely love the cut she gave me and couldn’t be happier with it or her service. I left the salon feeling like I had just gotten such a steal for what I paid. She immediately noticed I had waves in my hair and asked if I knew how to manage them and if I would like to learn. She taught me a LOT about taking care of my wavy hair and was so patient and kind. I was really nervous to get my hair done because I haven’t gotten it cut in 5 years and have been cutting my own but my expectations were far exceeded. Erin did my hair and not only was it the best cut and color I have ever gotten but she gave me soooo many tips on how to style curly and straight!! She also went into the science behind hair and why she did certain things which was really cool and overall I felt like I learned a lot of things about my hair. The environment of the salon was nice too, very clean and all the stylist were really nice to talk to. I will definitely be back in the future ❤

Talented hairdressers, friendly, hip, atmosphere. From what I’ve seen they are really good at coloring hair, specializing in bright, neon colors. If I ever decide to dye my hair, this will be the place.

First time visiting the salon and I felt very welcomed. Mike did a AWESOME job. Turned my really damaged hair into a much better condition! He was nice and very informative! He was so patient with me too and the conversation was fun. I would recommend him!

Mike at Behind the Scene is the best stylist I’ve ever had. He really took time to understand the kind of cut I wanted and kept referring to the photos… but he modified the cut to perfectly suit my hair type! He made me feel so comfortable and was really nice and fun. The atmosphere of the salon is great and clean. I was nervous about finding a hairdresser who could do this very funky cut I wanted, but he did a superb job. I’ve found my salon in Norman and I’m not going anywhere else. The price is also the same (or less) than any other good salon in town.

They took me in that very same day and did an amazing job on my hair. Friendly staff, clean store. Mike worked magic on my hair color and even brought softness and shine back to my dry and brittle hair. Definitely recommend this place. Come and check them out. I’ll be back….

Full disclosure: my good and longtime friend does my hair, Mike, and while I am biased for him, I think the results speak for themselves. I like the salon, though, and the other stylists are always really nice, and I just don’t trust anybody else with my hair.

We only see Mike, and of course I think he is the best hairdresser in the area. However, I see how other hairdressers work all the time and in my opinion every one in the salon is a professional.Absolutely do and will recommend this place.
