I only had a sew-in once and she was willing to explain things to me. Actually both owners made me feel comfortable. When conversating they never left me out and other clients did so as well. They both were professional. I like that they played music as well. They just made u feel at home. Idk about everybody else but im picky with someone doing my hair. Alicia definitely knew what she was doing. Minus the first pic the other pics are from 4 days later. It’s still nice and snug.. no shedding and still holding curls. She layered my sew-in for me. I went to this salon after reading the other reviews for a sew in as my Bachelorette party is a week away. It was very short notice but Alicia was so responsive, flexible and professional from the appointment scheduling to the final product! This salon is amazing and both Michelle and Alicia have created an awesome environment. It’s nothing better than seeing African Americans (especially women) support each other and build each other up! There was no shortage of compliments between other clients and both Alicia and Michelle!

I usually do not write reviews but I decided I should write one after my experience here. It’s been a week since I got my hair done here by Alicia and I am very pleased. I got a full sew-in with some leave out. She works very diligently and made sure I was okay all throughout the whole process. I felt comfortable being there and was greeted by anyone who walked through the door. It’s nicely decorated on the inside as well. Very clean. I am so glad I found this salon. I will definitely be back. It’s hard finding places that can deliver great services and do it with a smile. This is one of those places. You will not regret coming here.

This establishment is professional and classy. My sister and I have been going there for years the service is impeccable and skill level shows is their work. Alicia and Michelle are great and show great pride in the business and the work that they do. Customers are treated with respect and appreciation…that’s what I like the most. She was professional, on time for my appointment, engaged and informative! Skills are amazing from the full sewin to the cut I came in with 16 inch hair check out the cut she put on it!! She is AMAZING. I was driving all the way to Atlanta to keep my hair maintained she just saved me so much gas money and time!The salon is very cute and clean and even the other stylist Kim (I think that’s her name) was just styling beautiful hair one after the other. Let me first say i go to salons all over RVA, and then give my feedback on the top ten salons to numerous blogs and websites. I basically go in as a regular client .The pros: I loved how Alicia & Michelle made me feel warm, and she set the tone for a friendly environment. The wait was not too long .The Cons: The shampoo girl was washing my hair, while holding a conversation on the phone. She was very rough on my scalp and the water was way to hot. I feel its very unprofessional to wash a client hair and be on the phone at the same time. Very rude. Secondly, the furniture is a little outdated and have rips and holes where I was sitting. Lastly, i went in for a wash and blowout and the price was quite expensive from all the previous salons i went to.. I could tell the owners are nice talented young ladies. JUST BE ALERT BECAUSE U NEVER KNOW WHO’S GONNA WALK IN YOUR SALON. Stay BLESS!!!

This is a black owned business by two very intelligent and professional black women. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and the service is superb. When you enter you are greeted warmly by everyone… Not just the person doing your hair. The one thing I noticed, which made a huge impact upon me, was how the customers were a reflection of the owners/stylists. There is great conversation, lots of laughs and most importantly your hair is laid and slayed when they are finished. Trust me This is not your stereotypical black salon. You leave feeling like you just spent time with family…that you get along with
