I went in just to get my hair evened out in the back after cutting it myself. I at first gave the stylist the benefit of the doubt with the end result and have let my hair grow out for a few weeks now just incase I was in shock. I wish I would have just left it alone because now my hair is severely uneven and messed up. I asked for no harsh layers because I don’t like how they look when they grow out. I got the exact opposite my hair has been cut in to many layers and now flares up like a 2005s soccer mom bob (I was going for a French bob). I then wanted my bangs framed, I do this every time I get my hair cut at home and the look awesome. Again the opposite the stylist took a razor to random hairs, no sections at all, when I saw my bangs I noted one side was a little uneven to when the stylist went to the other side of my head grabbed hairs from the top middle/ crown and took a chunk out. I now have a chunk of hair which is 2-3 inches shorter than any other piece. There are more things I’m concerned with but these are the main. Now the stylist was friendly I won’t say that though I was taken aback when they asked if I’d like my hair to be styled after the cut for extra. I figured this meant the usual curl straighten or so on. No they blow dried my hair and that was it!!!! Not even product in it. I just don’t understand that. I wouldn’t recommend nor come back this is the first negative review I have left ever I just don’t want anyone to make the same mistake.

They cut my hair so much shorter than what I asked for. A whole 2 inch shorter. It takes a long time for my hair to grow. It’s such a shame. The hairdresser barely even paid attention to what I am saying when I was telling her what I wanted. My hair is wavy and bouncy. She didn’t take that into account when checking the length. She didn’t bother to show me the progress either. She just went ahead and chop it all off and then showed me the mirror at the end. What even is the point then. I had to ask for the mirror, lol. Please train your stylists so they actually listen to the customers before chopping.

This place is really amazing and I recommend it to everyone in the surrounding area. Haley was absolutely my favorite as I believe I only had my hair done by 3 other great girls, but I sure always really ended up appreciating my experiences with Haley and respected her advice and company. 5 stars for the different affordable options they share with you on whatever you want to do with your hair and it’s in a very convenient location(:

For my first time here I really enjoyed my experience. Mary took very good care of me and listened to what I was wanting from my view point. She offered her suggestions on different options with my hair type. She also trimmed and shaped my beard! My only issue is the parking lot. Not their control as it’s on the Purdue campus. I will be back for another visit. Thank you Mary!!

This place has always given me such great haircuts and has never made me feel overlooked or uncomfortable. In the past few years, I have been to salons that made me feel exactly that to where I was always terrified to go in even just for a trim. Shilleen has always done an incredible job with my hair and is flexible with me to where I never doubt her skills and her opinion on what looks best. Definitely recommend to everyone I know!
