Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI got my makeup done by Gypsy for my sisters wedding. She traveled to the hotel, I had no issues with my services with her. Gypsy did do my hair as well but unlike some of the ladies say I was also told that she was including a hairdo for free with my makeup so for me it wasn’t an issue. I got my makeup done by Gypsy for my sisters wedding. She traveled to the hotel, I had no issues with my services with her. Gypsy did do my hair as well but unlike some of the ladies say I was also told that she was including a hairdo for free with my makeup so for me it wasn’t an issue. Booking was easy on her site and my makeup came out great . I highly recommend her and I will be using Gypsy for my wedding in the fall.

Positive: ProfessionalismGoogle WILL NOT send me a postcard so I can respond to these other reviews so I’ll just make my own informal review as the business owner. A few bridesmaids of a client left reviews and they need to be addressed. For this particular party an informal flyer with pricing is sent out. My flyer does specify that hair & makeup however the only way to get the flyer is from me and when I send it I inform ALL clients that IF they elect to have their hair styled that I AM NOT licensed to do so however I can legally include it for free with other services which is what was done here. The bride was well aware of the pricing prior to as she signed a paper contract with all this info stating final price and travel fees etc. I did not change my pricing everything was discussed with the bride long before the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding basically everyone in this party at the hotel they were at were getting drunk and high at 6 am in the morning. I am trying to do hair and makeup on these clients and they are all smoking blunts, cigarettes & backwoods rolled in joint papers INSIDE the hotel room. Mind you there are 3 children present in the room 2 of them definitely under the age of 12. Now I don’t mind the drinking however most of them were all drunk and extremely rude & disorderly. Personally I have asthma so I hardly appreciated being choked in cigarette & tobacco/ weed smoke all day long however I dealt with it. The bridesmaids were set to show up at a certain time and half of them took hours to show leaving me with lost time needed to finish all the services. I did the girl Jocelyn’s makeup and she stated she loved it and so did her mom the BRIDE. Jocelyn & Missy and another bridesmaid left for some time and Jocelyn came back with half her eye makeup “accidentally” rubbed off and needed it fixed. I did not have time to fix it as many bridesmaids were late. My other senior complaint was the day AFTER the wedding the bride texts me and says one of the little girls tested POSITIVE FOR COVID! There was around 200 people at that wedding and they knew that little girl had covid before I did anyones makeup and they still didn’t inform me til the day after. Not to mention I saw and entire day of clients after finding out I’d then been exposed to COVID 19. I also have lupus, an autoimmune disease so COVID 19 is extremely serious for me and I have had it before and it makes me very sick. I didn’t want to have to say most of this stuff but these ladies are falsifying information about me saying I lied and changed the prices and fees when I have screenshots and proof. I fixed “missy davis” eyebrow makeup as she requested and she said everything else was great so I’m not sure why she left a terrible review with a picture prior to her makeup being fixed. As far as the hair goes no I didn’t have time to finish peoples hair as many people came late. I am a licensed professional & my license number is FULL SPECIALIST FS915183. Critical: ProfessionalismMakeup for wedding.My makeup was awful! The powder she used was just too much! My face was caked up with foundation, & powder, so it made my face blotchy, & pale looking! Looking like something from the walking dead! From my understanding she’s not licensed to do hair, & makeup, & it was included in the flier she made up. She told us she was licensed to do hair, & makeup! The quality of makeup is not good at all! One of my eye brows were not matching! One was higher then the other!
